Adobe Veterinary Clinic- Mesa, Arizona Dr. Heitman Ruined my dogs face, lied to me, and screwed me over on money Mesa, Arizona

Horrible people at Adobe Vet Clinic in Mesa, AZ! I took my dog in about a month and a half ago because a bump on her head. So they scheduled me for surgery and I told him the day I took her in for surgery that it looked like there was another bump coming in. He said well we aren't here for that you said you wanted this one removed (pointing to the original bump.) I said yes but while you have her open you could check this one out. He said she will be ready to by picked up after 4 and then I left.

 When I went to pick her up the scar was huge that other vets even questioned it. Dr. Heitman told me that he removed it and he did not know what it was, that it was of the cyst family but not a cyst. (Doesn't make sense to me or one of the nurses I told at his office.) He asked if I wanted to send it in to the lab to have it diagnosed, I said yes but I did not have the money to do so at the time because I just got done paying for her surgery in full like they told me to do. He said to me well I can't help you then I can't tell you anything else about it if you don't want to send it in. I said back that I did want to send it in but I don't have the money to at the time. He said ok bye have a nice day. Rude!

I asked him if the bump came back if I would have to pay for surgery and everything all over again. He said no I am 100% sure that it will not come back. Well here we are a month and a half later calling the vet back because now there are 2 more bumps. (One being the one I told him about the day of her surgery.) I called and the vet was out of the office due to the holiday and that the nurses would give him my message and he would call me back on Monday. He never called.

I called on Tuesday and come to find out the nurses didn't even give him my message. So when I finally got to talk to Dr. Heitman he wasn't even giving me answers or helping me out all he was saying was umm...well...hmm...that's strange. He kept saying that over and over until I finally said well I'm wondering if its an infection from the surgery. He then quickly said no no bring her in I will look at her head free of charge.

I took her in and the first thing he says is what's wrong with her scar? It looks bad. I told him that's how it healed after you took the stitches out. And he just shrugged it off and said oh ok. He then moves the bumps away from the scar (which is hurting my dog) and says see here they are not close to the scar so its not from the surgery. But when he lets go the go right back towards the scar.

He said we have to wait for them to get bigger and remove them again and this time you will have to send it into the lab. I asked I have to pay for everything again because you told me I wouldn't have to because you were 100% sure nothing would come back. He said yes you have to pay for it, then took my dogs head again moving the bumps away from her scar and says see they aren't by the scar. I asked, so I'm guessing you never looked at the other bump that I told you about when I brought her in for surgery. He said no you didn't bring her in for that one you brought her in to remove the one I removed.

He said now we just have to wait for them to get bigger and then you can bring her in so I can remove them. If you have anymore questions you can call me have a nice day. Opened the door and told me this is a free of charge visit bye. Then I left!

I will never ever go back to this place. The 2 older female nurses are even snappy! I regret going there and having Dr. Heitman butcher my dogs face! I do not recommend anybody to take their animal there ever. I think this place needs to be shut down immediately. I am not the only one that has been ripped off or has had her animal treated poorly. If I could do something legally or get my money back so I could go somewhere else to have them fix his mess I would in a heartbeat!!!
