I JUST FINISHED PAYING ADRIATIC $330.00 AND WITH IN TWO DAYS THE PHONE NUMBER GIVEN TO ME WAS NOT IN SERVICE ANYMORE. FIRST RED FLAG. MY HEART DROPPED. WHEN I CALLED ANOTHER NUMBER THAT WAS GIVEN TO ME BY BOB ( THE MAN THAT CONTACTED ME AFTER I INQUIRED ABOUT SAID COMPANY), HE ANSWERED. I ASKED WHY HE'S BUSINESS NUMBER WAS NO LONGER IN SERVICE. HE REPLIED, HE HAD NO IDEA WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT AND THAT HE IS HAVING HIS CALLS FORWARDED THATS HOW I REACH HIM. I REACHED HIM BY A SECOND NUMBER THAT I HAD DIALED. THIS NUMBER HE PROVIDED FOR ME, THAT WAS TO BE HIS CELL PHONE NUMBER. ANOTHER RED FLAG. NOW THE MAN THAT HAS MY MONEY IS LYING TO ME. HE'S TRYING TO CONVINCE ME THAT I'M APPARENTLY DILLUSIONAL AND DO NOT KNOW HOW I REACHED HIM. MY HEART DROPPED AGAIN AND THAT'S WHEN IT HIT ME THAT I JUST MADE A VERY BIG MISTAKE. I TOLD HIM I'M HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE PAPERS HE HAD E-MAILED ME AND I DID NOT WANT TO SIGN TAX'S PAPERS WITH U.S. TAX LAWS THAT I DO NOT UNDERSTAND. I LIVE IN CANADA. THEN HE TELLS ME THAT OH JUST FILL IN YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS DON;T WORRY ABOUT SIGNING THEM. THIRD RED FLAG. WHAT COMPANY THAT YOUR BUYING INTO DOES NOT NEED TO HAVE PAPER WORK FILLED OUT PROPERLY AND SIGNED??? I GOT OF THE PHONE AFTER THAT AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBE. I NEEDED SOME TIME TO THINK. AFTER A COUPLE MORE DAYS WENT BY AND NO ONE WAS GETTING A HOLD OF ME LIKE I WAS TOLD THEY WOULD. I TRIED E-MAILING THEM. NO ANSWER EXCEPT AN E-MAIL TELLING ME THAT THEY GOT IT AND NEED TWENTY FOUR HOURS TO GET BACK TO ME. I TREID CALLING BOB AGAIN. THE FIRST NUMBER STILL OUT OF ORDER AND THE SECOND ONE I LEFT A MESSAGE ON. NO RETURN CALL. NO CALLS ABOUT THE WEBSITE, NO E-MAILS WHEN I WILL HAVE IT STARTED OR FINISHED. NO NOTHING.
I PHONED MY LAWYER BOB ION ON THE MATTER AND BROUGHT HIM UP TO SPEED. HIS ADVICE WAS TO GO TO PAYPAL, WHERE I SENT THE MONEY FROM AND SEE IF I COULD STOP THE PAYMENT. I FOUND OUT ABOUT A RESOLUTION CENTRE AT PAYPAL AND WENT THAT ROOT. THEY PUT A HOLD ON THE FUNDS. THEY ARE NOW IN THE PROCESS OF DOING AN INVESTIGATION IN TO THE MATTER. THAT MAY TAKE 30 DAYS BEFORE I FIND OUT THE RESOLUTION. ONLY MINUTES LATER AFTER I FILED MY CLAIM AT PAYPAL I GOT A ANGRY CALL FORM THE COMPANY. NOW THEY WANTED TO TALK TO ME. I NOT SURE WHO IT WAS BECAUSE HE SPOKE SO FAST AND THEN ENDED UP SLAMMING THE PHONE DOWN ON ME, WHEN I DID NOT WANT TO LISTEN TO HIS B.S. THIS WAS ON THE ADVICE OF MY LAWYER AND PAYPAL. YOU ARE TO LET PAYPAL DO THE INVESTAGATING. AFTER THAT I STARTED TO DO MY OWN INVESTIGATION ON ADRIATIC. SEE PRIOR TO THIS I WAS TRYING TO FIND OUT ABOUT WWW.YOURADULTSTORE.NET. I DID NOT KNOW THEM AS ADRIATIC SO I KNEW NOTHING ABOUT THE RIP OFF TILL I PAID THE MONEY. NOT TILL I FOUND OUT THERE NEW NAME WHICH NOW WAS ON MY CONTRACT WAS ADRIATIC. SINCE THEN THE FOLLOWING DAY WHEN I WAS OUT, DEAR BOB NOW WAS LEAVING ME MESSAGES ON MY ANSWERING MACHINE. THREE IN TWO HRS AND FIFTEEN MINUTES TO BE EXACT. I NEVER ANSWERED HIS MESSAGE'S ON THE ADVICE OF MY LAWYER AND PAYPAL. I WAS TOLD BY PAYPAL THAT IF THEY KEEP CALLING TO CALL THE POLICE AND TELL THEM I WAS BEING HARRASSED. THE CALLS STOPED THANKFULLY ON THERE OWN.
THE REASON I'M HERE IS I REFUSE TO BE A VICTOM OF THIS COMPANY AND I WANT ANYONE TO CONTACT ME THAT HAS HAD A PROBLEM WITH THIS COMPANY SO I CAN GIVE THIS INFORMATION TO MY LAWYER. E-MAIL ME AT: bowgie@sympatico.ca. I TRIED TO FIND OTHER PEOPLE TO TALK TO WHO OWN ONE OF THESE STORES. THERE WAS A JENNIFER ALL SO IN CANADA THAT I TREID TO GET A HOLD OF, HER STORE NAME IS, HOPE CHEST ADULT TOYS, BUT THERE WAS NO NUMBER ON THERE TO GET A HOLD HER. JENNIFER PLEASE E-MAL ME. I AM INTERESTED FROM HEARING FROM FELLOW CANADIAN'S AND AMERICANS THAT FELL PREY TO THIS COMPANY. THANK YOU AND HOPE TO HEAR FROM YOU SOON.

Hi David,
I appreciate the info about Detective Sullivan, but I already knew about him a couple of weeks ago through my lawyer and I have spoken with him and answer all his questions. I have not wrote a rebuttal to Adriatic last rebuttal because I do not have the time to waste on the there lie's and fantasies. I did not write about the Cyber Crime Unit because, in all honesty I wanted it to be a surprise to the boy's at Adriatic. I have high hopes for them between my Lawyer's investigation and the Police Unit. But I am truly thankful to the people that have helped me and got a hold of me during this time. It has helped my Lawyer immensely.
I also want to warn people that if you paid through Paypal they will not protect you and you will loss your money. I lost my case to Adriatic with Paypal, well see for yourself there reason:

It took them 30 days to tell me this. It was a complete was of my time. Apparently the only people Paypal protects is there own company. They tell you it's there policy if the item you purchase is intangible. What I couldn't believe, is if this has always been there policy then why did they allow me to open the claim, why did they say that they were investigating? Why not just tell me that on day one when I went to them. Sorry we can't help you because your product is intangible. Why waste my time and tell me that they are investigating for thirty days. Go figure. But I thought I'd tell just in case you paid Adriatic with Paypal.
Well since I'm here again anyway I'II do a little rebuttal to Adrictic. How about this some real proof,
Remember, when a product sells from your website, a product leaves the warehouse shelves and we make money too. If all you're looking to make is an extra 2 to 5 thousand a month, that is very attainable, if you want to make more than that, that's possible too. But just like any real business, it takes a little work and the right combination of marketing and advertising.

You can not communicate with people that constantly try to snow you. These are the owners, the police have a whole list of owners for this company. They lie like you and I breath.
Just one more thing. To the gentleman who phone me and left a message because I was not in. I could not make out your name in the message and I do not have caller I.D. like this company claims. I want to thank you for your information but you did not leave your own phone number so I could not call you, so thanks.

I just finished speaking with Cyber Crime Unit where youradultstore.net is located, Detective Sullivan has assured me they will take immediate action to stop this kind of scam.

However the people involved like your self have to contact him (if he is not there leave a message on his (voice mail) he will contact you back

Unjustified complaints -- Disregard this post

I will make this reply really simple and short. Mrs. --- claims that she was not aware of our toll free number. I will now illustrate that this is impossible and that she is not being truthful.

Mrs. --- on 9/20/2007 went to GOOGLE and did a search for the word wholesalers.
Our ad appeared as a sponsored listing which she than clicked on. Her IP Address at the time of her search was ----. We maintain all data records in our database. The page that she was directed to is adult-business.us

For anyone reading this.... please visit that page. You will CLEARLY see our toll free telephone number. That is the first time that she was made aware of our phone number.

Once she filled out the form and submitted it an email was sent to her again with our toll free number on it!

She was contacted by us and she joined our program and received yet two more emails. Our toll free number is clearly listed on the hosting agreement that she received and signed.

Furthermore, she logged into her control panel for her webstore where we again display our toll free telephone number. There is also an online support ticket system that she could have used at anytime to contact us.

Mrs. --- was aware of our toll free number. She is simply struggling to find an excuse to get her money back for services that we already rendered.

As for the invisible website that she is referring to. Mrs. --- is well aware that she gets to choose her own domain name for her store. She never provided a name to us. The programming and database work is complete and all we need to get her site online is a domain name.

Mrs. ----, you are still welcome to provide us a domain name and we will have your site live within 24 hours. We are still willing to assist you in anyway we can regardless of your slanderous remarks.

One final note. It is customary for businesses to monitor telephone conversations for quality control. Mrs. ---- did speak to one of our customer service reps. However, Mrs. --- was vulgar and cursing at our employee. We stand by his decision to terminate the telephone call with Mrs. ---.

Your reasons for wanting your money back have nothing to do with the services that we provided you. We cannot issue refunds simply because someone changes their mind after we committed our resources and fulfilled our obligations.

I Am About as Confused as You Are Honest Sir

This rebuttal by Adriatic does not even deserve a response it is so idiotic.
So this is not a complete waste of my time, I would first like to thank the people that responded to my letter about this company with your e-mails and calls. You have been very helpful. Allot of your information was passed on to Mr. Ion. Thank you very much. Some of you, I'll I will be talking to again soon, again thanks.
Now as to who ever wrote the rebuttal to my letter. I would call you by your name but you did not leave one. I am sure you would like nothing better then for people to disregard my complaints and other complaints made about you. I am here to tell you, they did not.
As for me being confused, I am about as confused as your are honest sir and we all know I'm not confused. There is absolutely not one ounce of truth to your story.
Lie 1, As proof I sent your e-mails, and any and all communication that I got from you to Paypal and my Lawyer. There is no toll free number on your documentation any where, just Arizona numbers.
Lie 2; I was never verbally informed in any way shape or form about any toll free number. I have proof of that also in the answering machine call messages from Bob where he repeatedly tells me to call him on his Arizona number, which was also given to Paypal and Mr. Ion.
Lie 3; I do not scribe to caller ID. Proof, my phone bill. Also given to Paypal and Lawyer. I have two phone lines, they both have answering machines on them. One is used as a private # and the other for business because I do work from home. The second one is connected to a Toronto based company that I have worked five years for, and all calls on that line are recorded for said Company, even when I'm not working for them at the time. Please don't let this go over your head boy's.
Lie 4; Now here's a real whopper of a story that they tell you. They now claim I have a website. I am paranoid and confused they tell you. I want something for nothing. I have one question to them on this one. Where is this Website and what is it's name. Is it in a place where only you and your friend Bob can see it?? the reason that you were so rude to me and slammed the phone down on me when I did not want to discuss this, was because they froze the money and you could not get to it. One other thing, please don't call here any more. I got a call a couple of days ago from now a new guy who's supposedly from Marketing. I was getting ready to go to a funeral when that call came in. You know that you are not to call me. Those are the rules with Paypal while they are investigating the claim. I have no idea why you continue this charade of pretending that your working with me when you know you are not even suppose to communicate with me. You know if you were the reputable company you claimed to be, you would of just gave my money back to me. That was all that I wanted and still want.
I sell merchandise on Ebay and if a customer had any problem I would deal with it not B.S. them. My service is guaranteed 100% satisfaction or your money back. I have no problem offering that guarantee because I want customers to be happy and satisfied. I don't ignore them and belittle them. It's called respect. So this is not a complete waste of my time, I would first like to thank the people that responded to my letter about this company with your e-mails and calls. You have been very helpful. Lie 1, As proof I sent your e-mails, and any and all communication that I got from you to Paypal and my Lawyer. There is no toll free number on your documentation any where, just Arizona numbers.
Lie 2; I was never verbally informed in any way shape or form about any toll free number. I have proof of that also in the answering machine call messages from Bob where he repeatedly tells me to call him on his Arizona number, which was also given to Paypal and Mr. Ion.
Lie 3; I do not scribe to caller ID. Proof, my phone bill. Also given to Paypal and Lawyer. I have two phone lines, they both have answering machines on them. One is used as a private # and the other for business because I do work from home. The second one is connected to a Toronto based company that I have worked five years for, and all calls on that line are recorded for said Company, even when I'm not working for them at the time. Please don't let this go over your head boy's.

I would like to address the complaints made by one of our customers, Joe ann Kijas. On 9/20 Mrs. Kijas contacted us via our website expressing an interest in selling adult toys and videos online. We called her the day after on 9/21 to offer our services. Our sales representatives call from an outbound call center that was never intended to be used for inbound calls. Mrs. Kijas most likely got the phone number from her caller ID. We clearly inform all clients verbally as well as in documents that our toll free customer service number should be used for any questions regarding our service. This was explained to her when we did finally talk to her. We had no clue that she was trying to get in touch with us because she was calling the wrong number! This is her mistake not ours. The main basis of her complaint is that our number was disconnected!

It was never disconnected at anytime. All she had to do was look over her documents and call the phone number listed on them. OR she could have visited the website and called the number on the site. However, she naievly kept calling the number from her caller id.

As for the papers that she is so concerned about. Our company pays our clients commissions based on their sales. For U.S citizens, we are required to file to the IRS all amounts paid in commissions in excess of $600. The form that she is talking about is the w9 form which requests her tax information so that we may report it at the end of the year and be in compliance with U.S laws. Since Mrs. Kijas is in Canada, we told her not to worry about that. Again, she is confused and jumping to conclusions.

Mrs. Kijas is now taking her paronoid suspicians to a new level by slandering us on this website with no real cause. We have already built her website and kept our part of the obligation. Now Mrs. Kijas is trying to get something for nothing. You cannot go to a restaurant, order a filot mingon, eat it and then get your money back. That is what she is attempting to do now! As for her comment about people falling prey to us? That is pure slander. You spent only $330 Mrs. Kijas. What do you get for that money?

You got the following:
A complete website that you can customize to your liking ability to sell an inventory of over 25K products and you never have to stock a thing.
a built in shopcart payment processing for your orders order processing and shipping is taken care of by us customer service is taken care by us inventory maintenence on your website is maintained by us

all that for only $330 and you claim that we prey on people? It appears more like you are preying on our company.

As for any other individuals reading this post. Please understand the following: We have thousands of satisfied customers. Out of those thousands, we have a handful of complaints on this website. This website does not verify the claims made by individuals such as Mrs. Kijas. If they did, they would not have allowed her to make claims that were completely innaccurate. But dont take my word for it.

Please take a second and do a search on this website for

Walmart: they have thousands of complaints on this site, are they a scam?
Walt Disney: They are on this site, are they a scam?
Bank of America: Are they a scam too?

Now take a second and type this websites name into google. Draw your own conclusions.

In closing, we are a relatively small company with normal growing pains as every business goes through. We do our best to make sure that every client is satisfied with our services however, it is impossible to please everybody 100% of the time. Please take that into consideration.
