Advanced Chimney Inc Deceptive Sale Practices Ronkonkoma New York

I was cold called by the company in December 2011 to have my chimney cleaned, it was explained to me that I should have it cleaned on a yearly basis. Which seemed reasonable to me. So we set up an appointment
to have the service done. The company came and did the service on 12/26/11 and I paid them with a check that day. Both parties were happy.

They told me someone would call next December to set up another appointment to repeat the yearly service, I agreed. One of there sales associates (Sharon) calls me in late June and advises me that I need to have my chimney cleaned again because I have not had it cleaned in over 18 months. Myself not realizing that it was
done just 6 months prior in December. So I agreed to have it done again after this woman Sharon assured me that its been over 18 months since I last had it done. I even told her that it does not seem like it was that long ago. So they come on July 2, 2012 and have it cleaned again.

When I write out a check to the company, I notice in my check register that I just had the chimney cleaned 6 months prior, and was not happy about their deceptive sales practices. Of course the men in the field have no knowledge of whats going on but if I called the office, they would make it right. So I called the office and and asked to speak to the boss or a superior, but they just blew me off and and said sorry, we didn't realize. So I politely asked them to please stop calling my home, that I was not interested in doing business with them again. They basically laughed, and said that Sharon wouldn't be calling my home any longer.

Today 12/27/12 Sharon from Advanced Chimney called me again to have my chimney cleaned, she said its been more than a year since the last cleaning, I told her that it was just cleaned by her company on July 2,
2012 which was less than 6 months ago. I asked her to please stop calling my home that I would not be using their company anymore because of their deceptive practices, and hung up.
