ADVANTA BANK RIPOFF Continued to bill me interest on ZERO BALANCE PHILADELPHIA Pennsylvania

I paid off a credit card balance of $40,154.10 on July 30th. The balance due was Aug.3rd. So I know now I am at ZERO balance right? Wrong!! I received my credit card statement friday Aug.13th with a balance of $458.62. I called the 800# and spoke to Stephy who had to check with her supervisor who promptly told me her scripted answer that the balance continued to accrue interest from July 3rd to the day it was paid (july 30th)

However, I told this supervisor that I called July 23rd for balance. And it was $40,154.10. She wasnt believing that at all and I wasnt going to convince her otherwise. She deducted $250.00 from the $458.62. So now I still owe the $208.62. For being a customer in good standing for 8 years I expected better. Instead I feel ripped off. I will pay the $208.62 and CLOSE this account.
