Advantage Plus Agency takes on clients for long term care, bills the insurance companies for about $21 an hour and only pays $12 an hour to the caregivers. After taxes, they have $9 an hour left.

Clients can request certain caregivers but if the agency does not like the person they ask for, the caregiver will not be sent to the assignment. Some caregivers are taken off of jobs many times. The only ones who work repeatedly in well paying jobs are the friends of the staff. This is very disrupting in the client's life who sometimes have a different person coming every week.

The agency does not keep track of employees paperwork. Many of them have expired nursing licenses, TB tests and first aid cards.

Do your due diligence before hiring them to care for you or your loved ones. Think and ask questions before agreeing to work for them.

False Claims against AdvantagePlusAgency.com

This is to rebutt the false claims made by an undisclosed person by the name of Jane Doe.

1) We always listen to Clients requests for it is the clients comfort that is most important to us.  The main key to our great success is that we are very good at finding the right match, one that has all the needed skills and having a compatable personality so that the Client is comfortable with the person we send.  If they are unhappy for any reason they just let us know and we replace them.  That how sensitive we are to listening to the needs of our Clients.  The only time we would not honor a request from a Client to give them a caregiver that we have is if there was a compliance issue with the caregiver.

2) We have never ever ripped off any caregiver, infact we pay higher then most all of our competition!!!!  Though the pay part is accurate, most agencies pay a Companion or CNA on average 10 per hour in the Southern California area but we pay 12+ depending on the circumstances of the Clients and the service level need.  We charge 19+ on our payroll service or more depending on what we have to pay the caregivers and again this is usually less then our competitors.

3) We never hire illegal aliens and all workers in the field all have their proper required documentation (minimum is CPR, First Aid, TB Test, and a background check).  To assure this we use cloud based software to help monitor all doumentation in our system, to alert us, and remind the caregivers, over a month ahead of time, of any documentation that maybe expiring or missing (we have over 2100 applicants on file and many of them do not have all of their documents and that is why they do not get placed on jobs).  If they are missing then they do not get put on active status or placed on jobs

4) Yes we are very picky who qualifies and who we place on a particular job.  It is important that we match the best caregiver to our Cients needs.  It is not based upon whether they are friends of the office staff.  However being friendly and caring is required after all they are "Caregivers".

5) We believe that not only do we have fair hiring practices but we are constantly being told by applicants that have also applied to many of our competitors, that we have the most thorough application process of all over the ones they have applied with and that they love our open door friendly straight forward hiring practises.

6) We a bothered that an unknown person can make false claims here that we did not dicover until 5/10/2011, and the only options one has to defend themselves it to right a rebuttal and or give $2000 for arbitration through supposedly an nutral party to this site?  It sounds questionable to me and self serving, but I have not evidence of that to be true.

We encourage any and all to come to our office and meet with us and see for youself if you have any concerns or questions.  Please do not let some unknown person influence you from working with us, one of the best caregiving agencies in southern California

And lastly we reach out to "Jane Doe" in an attempt to resolve whatever issue you really have with us so that you will stop trying to harms us unjustly by making these false claims.  We have never harmed you!
