This company advertises on Radio, (WBBM 780) and promises to manufacture, market and help with all the legal aspects of your invention. They start by asking for 10000 up front and promise that you will "make your money back in no time" well let me tell you this is the biggest ripoff ever!!!!

They stay in contact with you, but always say that things are moving slower than the thought!! Then when they have you right were they want you, they ask for more money!!!! Well we already invested 10000 that we really didn't have!! So I went to another lawyer and they said that this was a scam. They keep pumping you for money and never produce any results!!!!!

What really sucks is that before we gave them anything, we check with the BBB and there were no complaints, we came to find out that the company changed there name and didn't bother to let the BBB know. I really wish I knew the name of the company but i don't....

Most if not all of these "invention" marketing companies are shady. But in order to get any restitution you would first need to prove they violated any laws, or failed to deliver a service they guaranty in WRITING and charged you for. I am not saying you can not sue them, you have the right, and perhaps they are conducting some kind of fraud that a business lawyer could find as grounds, maybe on a verbal agreement but that has limitations. They seem pretty clear what they promise in writing..which is.. nothing.

As far as any "services" they conducted or claim they've "attempted" which cost you 10 grand, have they communicated with you or documented in any way to prove they have done anything yet?

On the web page of this company is stated on the bottom aka "fine print" and I quote..

"You should be aware that Advent Product Development charges a fee for its services, and that attempting to commercialize a new invention is an extremely risky venture, with absolutely no guarantees of success. Advent Product Development does not evaluate inventions or ideas, and can not predict in any way whether a particular invention will be

successful or not."
