Just wanted to advise that AEGON is still hustling people to come to their initial group interview in an attempt to fill jobs for new offices opening up around the country.

Today (2/4/09) the caller found my resume on line, and vaguely described a financial services company, with openings which sounded more like selling positions than the stated management positions. He said that his company 'does things like estate and investment planning.' They will train the right candidate. And if there is a match during the 1st group interview, then a 2nd one-on-one interview would take place to further discuss such issues as compensation.

To research AEGON, I found that the call I had received apparently fits a well-used pattern. Unable to attend tomorrows meeting, the caller advised that he'll call back next week. At this point I can't confirm that this is a scam. But it certainly appears to be a method to recruit as many people as possible, to "warm sell" their products (insurance policies?) to friends and family. And I have no interest in selling anything.
