MY COMPANY ASK ME TO BOOK A TiCKET FOR A MEETING IN COSTA RICA ON JAN 28-31ST.  MY FAMILY WAS INVITED, SO I DECIDED TO GO TO EXPEDIA AND LOOK FOR FLIGHTS.  I DID NOT KNOW THERE ARE TWO AIRPORTS IN COSTA RICA.  LIR AND SJO ARE THE TWO AIRPORTS.  THEY ARE 4 HOURS APART BY CAR.

 

I BOOKED SJO FLIGHT WITH AERO MEXICO NOT KNOWING THAT THE HOTEL MY COMPANY BOOKED WAS: Hotel Riu Guanacaste | Sardinal de Carrillo, Hotel Riu Guanacaste, El Octal, Costa Rica

 

I NEEDED TO BOOK LIR AIRPORT.  I CALLED THE NEXT DAY, TO RESCEDULE.

 

I HAD TO REBOOK THIS FLIGHT WITH ANOTHER AIRLINE BECAUSE AREO MEXICO DOES NOT FLY TO LIR.  I THOUGHT OF DRIVING, BUT I GET IN AT 11PM ON THE 28TH, MY BUSINESS MEETING STARTS AT 8AM ON THE 29TH.  PLUS EXPEDIA ADVISE ME NOT TO DRIVE THE 4 HOURS IN COSTA RICA WAS UNSAFE.

 

I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE THE NEXT DAY, BUT WAS TOLD HAD TO EMAIL CUSTOMER RELATIONS.  I DID ON THE 6/9/16, I RECIEVED NO RESPONSE.  I EMAILED AGAIN ON THE 6/22/2016, ON 7/7/2016, I RECIEVED A RESPONSE TO CONTACT EXPEDIA. I HAD DONE THAT, AND I WAS  TOLD FROM EXPEDIA TO CONTACT Aeromexico.

 

I CALLED TODAY 9/22/2016, AND FINALLY CONVINCE SOMEONE TO TRASFER ME TO A ENGLISH SPEAKING CUSTOMER RELATIONS PERSON, THEY SAID I HAD TO PAY $800 IN CHANGES FEES, WHICH MEANS MY TICKETS ARE WORTH $100.  SOMEONE HAS TO DIE TO WAIVED CHANGE FEES, EVEN THOUGH I CALLED WITHIN 24 HOURS OF BOOKING.

 

THIS AIRLINE SHOULD NOT BE DOING BUSINESS IN THE US WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE LIKE THAT

justfly.com justfly.com they did not honor a discount for my mothers passing away, hung up on me several times, never call me back, and they made me miss my flight didn't change it when I told them that I needed to change my flight because my mother had died on oct 21st and ned to stay for funeral arrangements in guatemala city and they said they would but and had a confirmation for november 19th and was hung up on and they didn't email. or call back and I call several times speaking with different rep and keep me on hold and haning up and I missed my flight on oct 31 and they said sorry can't help you ..you had to buy a new ticket at full price and I called avaince and pay 756 dollars for a different airline back to sfo I want a full refund on this false travel internet agency for airline aeromexico of $549.00 and pay for my new flight at full price of 759.00 for Avianca leaving guatemala city on november 24th to sfo internet base in the Philippines Internet
