This company lied to us, wouldn't return our phone calls and then stole $300 from us. I have never worked with a more unprofessional company in my life. They claimed that they needed a $300 deposit from us to give us a consultation but then it would be returned if we used their services or if another competitor could beat their quote/offer.

 We decided to try and work with them so they took and cashed our $300. That was the last time we heard from them. They stopped returning our calls. After a few months of calling and leaving voicemails we finally got someone on the phone that said they couldn't find a record of us. 

After mentioning they had taken our $300 they magically found our record and claimed they could still work with us. They then decided to send someone to re-evaluate the property. This individual gave us a time that he would be at our house. We were forced to delay going into work at a regular time because he refused to come meet with us anytime other than 8 AM-5 PM even though we work during the day. He wouldn't ben his schedule to meet with us.

We decided it was worth going into work a little late to get our yard landscaped so we scheduled with him. He then stood us up 3 days in a row without notice. All 3 days the appointment was schedule for 8 AM and it wasn't until my wife and I had called him at 8:20 that he mentioned he couldn't make the appointment and needed to reschedule. IT was clear that this company had no intention of ever providing a service to us and simply wanted to keep our $300.

I called the company vice president and manager Steve who claimed that they weren't willing to refund the money or even compensate for the lost time we had from work due to the missed appointments by their employee. When we said that we were never explained the we could lose the $300 but that his employee had said it was simply a "deposit" for them to give us a bid but that if they couldn't beat the competitiors quote they would refund the money. 

He said that we would've been provided a document that we would have signed stating that we could lose the $300. When i asked him to provide the document he stopped returning my calls for 2 days and then finally called back and said "well we don't have anything on record but we're still not in a position to refund your $300". When i asked him why or how he came to that conclusion he said "because we don't feel justified in giving you that money back". 

Please don't make the mistake of calling or trying to work with this company. Every person in their organization including their owner and CFO knows about our situation and is refusing to even talk with us at this point or refund us the money. This is the worst company you could ever work with.
