Agora Marketing Solutions (AMS) is the nice new name of what once was Special Data Processing (SDP).  SDP had a really bad rep!

The only good thing about the old SDP was - it was founded in Florida & staffed by Floridians.  Not so today.

Agora Marketing Solutions is now owned by a forward thinking investment capital firm based in Chevy Chase Maryland. 

This forward thinking company has been slowly outsourcing the various departments to their favored "relatives", who, by the way, are not located in Florida!  AND, just recently, located in India!!

Considering Pinellas County's unemployment rate is in the double digits...isn't it interesting to have a company that's been in business for 24 years (as SDP mind you) and claims to support the community....now laying people off so that the jobs they performed can now be performed by someone in India?? 

Buying mags from this company will only further their ability to outsource all of the company.  I urge everyone who has subscriptions via NME/NPE to cancel them. 

And, hello, once you commit you're paying $67/yr for those 5-10 magazines.  Thats NOT a bargain! 

Soon you'll be dealing with Jennifer Smythe who has a decidedly indian accent when you need to swap those magazines or have a billing problem.

So, from a fellow american....be like me - try to deal with/buy from companies who keep their business, 100% of their business, in America!!!!
