Aid & Assist at home Addus Home Care was forced to resign was fired on 13 day of a 2 week notice Knoxville Tennessee

I was hired by aid and assist at home in knoxville in 03-2013.  I completed a 2 week notice in may 2016. My last day of employment was going to be june 2 2016. The reason for my 2 week notice was there was never NO coverage when I needed to take a day off. Example: I was in the hospital 3 times in 2015 aid and assist refused to provide a back up employee to take my place. So my shift went with out any one durring my stay in hospital. See the problem I have with this is aid and assist has a insurance contract that plainly spells out they are in charge of providing back up employees to cover when regular employees are off. But obiviously they are never held responcible for their actions..

On june 01-2016 after I had completed my shift I get a call complaining that I am falsifying time sheets and that I dont need to come back. So I was fired on the 13 day of a 2 week notice. My? to every one who does this. 

The company actually had the nerve to file a seperation notice with the Dept of Work Force Dev. in Nashville.

That I had quit with out notice and with out good cause. 

Has any one else had a bad exp. with this company.
