Called on a Friday at 4:30 as Air Conditioning went out. Were not friendly was told someone would call in a half hour and it would cost $95 to come out. If they did some service the $95 would be waived and you pay for repair.
I made it home within 15-20 minutes and hit some reset buttons and the ac unit started to work. within ten minutes it went out again. I called back and it was now a few minutes past 5 pm. They advised it would be a emmergency call out and will cost $195 to come out and the charge is not waived beforfe any work is even done. I said i called at 4:30 and now that it is litterally minutes after 5pm you were still going to charge me the $195.
The girl on the other end just said "yes". I said this is not exactly how you advertise and how friendly you are and care about the customer and try to keep the prices down etc... The lady did not even respond.
I will never use that company again and would not suggest anyone else does. The best way to give them a reality check is by word of mouth of how they really do treat people. I hope this helps other people to make an informed decision and choose another company.
I did choose another company who charged me 2/3 of there original call out and fixed my ac in less than half an hour and did not charge me an exorbatant amount. I will use them again. I hope all you get is Air around your clock and your pocket book.

In reviewing our records we see that he called initially at 4:10pm or Friday, July 11th. As he stated he called because his unit was not working and the call was scheduled for that day at a charge of $95, our standard service charge for his residence. He called back at 4:43pm to cancel the call, because he had gotten home and pressed the reset button in the garage. He stated that his system was working and did not need the service call.
The next call was made at 5:12pm and during this call he related that the system was again not cooling. The CSR told him that she would check and see if she could get a technician for him and that we were at that time on Emergency Service. The CSR checked and found that the prior call had been cancelled and the tech was reassigned, we would be able to get a technician out to his home that evening, as an Emergency Service Call. The normal charge for an Emergency Service Call is $175, which he was told (not the $195 a combination of both service charges). He declined to have the call and was offered to have the service call on the Saturday at the normal $95, which he also declined.
Our company works 7 days a week, we have over many years determined that we must go to an Emergency Service rate at some point and during the week it is 5:00pm, we will service people who call before that at our regular rate if we have technicians available. It may have seemed like minutes to the customer but 25 minutes can make a difference in scheduling technicians.
We do not feel that this was an attempt at ripping Lenny off.
