The tricky internet site should have been the first clue. I thought I was authorizing a $5.00 registration fee. I went back and realized I had requested a membership. I called the very next day, 3/18/03 and asked the customer service rep to cancel the membership, which she said she did. When I received my credit card bill there was a charge for $74.00. I called again and got a real person at another phone number who instructed me to put the refund request in writing. I did and sent it out on 4/3/03.

On 4/30, I called to find out the status of the refund and was sent round and round. The customer service rep, Rhonda, said she cancelled my memberhship as of this day, 4/30. She then, advised me to call303-380-7194 for a refund. I got an answering machine which all kinds of reasons for the necessary information in writing, but then Did Not give an address. They said the same thing as did the woman on 4/3, to put the request in writing and to send back the membership kit...Which I Have Never Received!

I called Rhonda back at 800-693-8333 and she said she would send me a kit so that I can send it back with, Yet Another Letter, because that might hold it up. I just read another Victim's report, so I will call again to make sure she doesn't charge me $10.oo!
I got the phone numbers for Air Courier Association from "information". I tried to call both numbers, but, surprise, surprise, They Do Not Answer.
I have disputed this charge with my credit card company...and will also report this sorry situation to the Chamber of Commerce and Better Business Bureaus of Golden, Colorado.

There is another parent company involved called CC3, a direct mail company whose number is 215-672-6900...they also claim ignorance.
