AIY Properties, Independence, OH Unprofessional Business-Ripoff Independence Ohio

Clarkwood Greens was owned by Goldberg Companies and bought by AIY Properties located in Indpendence, OH as of Oct 1, 2013. I moved in the property 3/15/2013. There were some maintenance issues and other vandalism to my vehicle in June 2013. Besides the fact that I was not notified that the 4 bedrm apt that I applied for was not available and had to take a 3 bedrm that was available and the fact that I was told that a garage would be available but I never received one, Goldberg had noting on AIY since they have taken over. AIY Properties has taken the personalization away to the point that if you have an issue there is really no one to speak with. If you call AIY they will direct you back to the rental office staff who has not a clue as to how to answer any questions.

Currently the issue I am having is trying to find out what my account balance is seeimg that my check was mailed as usual in Jan 2014 but never cashed and no one knows where it is. I've called AIY and again the sent me back to contact the rental office and let them know that I want to speak to a supervisor. I sent my reqeust in writing through fax and as of 48 hours later no one has contacted me. I am moving on Feb 28 and turning in the keys all I want to know is what is my account balance and what I will owe for March seeing that I am not interested in staying any longer. There are electrical isseus and my heating bill is ridiculous. I have requested maintenance to repair the heat vents so that heat would flow on the first floor and not only the 2nd floor where it is very hot. There is no way that I should have $300 gas bills when I am only home from 7pm-7am daily. I paid a deposit and rent was prorated to move in but according to the office staff I will owe for the entire month of March whether I stay or leave. I just want my account balance so I can pay and go buy a real house. Poor susotmer service.
