I was contacted by Al Carter about a shoot that seemed legit, a calendar, lingerie, and DVD spread, where I would be posing nude with a male model. I believe it was through ModelMayhem, where he got my name.
We met at a hotel in Atlanta and began the shoot, and it was just like any other shoot, picked out the outfits, got my makeup and hair done, and took the pictures.
He then asked me if I preferred to be massaged with oil or lotion, which confused me, I did not understand why he was asking me that, then I asked him if I was going to have sex with him. He said, "you know what this is, don't you?" He had never said anything about having intercourse, he said posing with a male model, which is different, but I thought maybe I misunderstood. Then what freaked me out is that he did not have a condom. I felt very uneasy about it but did it anyway.
Afterwards, I just filled out paperwork, he took a photo of my ID, everything a photographer does at a shoot, I signed the release, and he said he would be back in Florida that Monday (the shoot was on a Friday), would call me on Tuesday about sending out the check for $1,000, and I should receive it by the Tuesday after that.
When I did not receive a check, I e-mailed him, he said he got send to Columbia, SC and would be back in Florida the next Monday. When I did not hear from him, I e-mailed him, and e-mailed him several times after that, and never heard from him again. I spoke of him to some friends in the industry, who then found the rip-off report filed against him.
