Alan Action
ALAN ACTION PRODUCTIONS

Dear Mr. Action:

I am sending this letter to you with regret that previous efforts to obtain payment from you have been unsuccessful.
I was assigned and responsible for both parties and attended to the guests at both tables.
You stated that I would receive $25/hour for work on August
15, 2011.

I reported at 5:30pm.

I worked until 12:30am.

I waited 2 hours and worked 5 hours.

$25.00 x 5 = $125.00 plus tips from 2 tables for bottle
service

I assumed that you would be responsible in paying for services as discussed and that some small oversight was to blame now weeks have passed.

Please remit payment for services rendered on August 15, 2011 within five days or I will report you to the following authorities:

New York Better Business Bureau: http://newyork.bbb.org/

New York State Attorney General: http://www.ag.ny.gov/

AUTHOR: Alan Action - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, August 18, 2012

The posting by this misinformed bottle service contractor is most unfortunate and much to our chagrin, we can't even identify who this person even is.  The industry standard in bottle service waitressing at any NY nightclub, or bar  is that the bottle service waitress starts usually one to two hours before the start time of the party and ends usually one hour after the party for cleanup of her service area.  Bottle service waitresses usually  work on a commission on selling the bottle product an or they then  receive a mandatory gratuity on top of the bottle service price.

In this case this contractor worked,  and as she stated,  serviced the tables and received gratuities and additional tips form the patrons and then wanted to demand in an unwarranted fashion, an additional hourly wage, despite the fact that prior to her assignment, and in several meetings, this contractor was told there would be no hourly wage and the wages earned would be from gratuities only.

Interestingly enough,  on the night in question there were 5 bottle service waitresses, and none had any complaint except this one.    Summarily, this contractor's missive makes no sense, she tacitly agrees that she received gratuities from two tables, and her claim for an hourly wage  is not valid, unwarranted, and is harassing, in that she was explained the exact policy for payment and she agreed to it. We stand by our position that this waitress was very well compensated by our guests as is standard at our events, and her complaint to get and receive an hourly wage was an attempt to take advantage of our organization and our good will and reputation.
