Avoid this man named Alex Watson ,Alex Watson ,AKA Brad Philis, Carried out a false Persona, gave out copy large studio scripts. North Hollywood California

A man by the name of Alex Watson resides in Los Angeles. He claims to be an editor for Fox Studios at Fullscreen. Now I am not 100% sure if that is true or not. Regardless, he has been attempting to scam me beginning in Feb 2018. He disguised himself as another man named Brad Philis, pretending to work for large studios such as HBO, Bad Robot Productions, Lifetime, etc.. He has sent me a copy written script from Bad Robot Productions..Now when I was talking with Alex I had no idea he had disguised himself as another individual. Due to this I hired Alex to write a short film for me. I hired him in August. After paying him an initial fee, we made an agreement that he would check in with me weekly. Update me on the writing he has done, at which point I would pay him. This man is NOT a member of SAG as a writer or anything else.

Here we are in November( almost December), and for the last 4 months he has just made excuse after excuse as to why the work hasn't been completed. Finally I buckled down on him due to not receiving any script etc. I told him if I did not receive a script by yesterday ( the 27th of November), that I had retained an attorney and would be seeking legal proceedings. He immediately sent me the script... only 2 pages. I asked him to sign an NDA since he left my script on a work computer that others had taken home. He refused to sign an NDA, but out of no where I got an interesting email from " Brad Philis", saying how he had a part he wanted me to read for and would check in with Alex to see if I should be referred for the part. I instantly could smell the bull s**t a mile away, and knew it was really Alex in disguise. After informing " Brad Philis" that I had reported everything to the studios, etc... I then find out that all the sudden his email is no longer in service.

At this point I am still working with an attorney to handle this situation. I have also notified the studio's of the updated information I have. I am warning any of you who may have interactions with him, to just avoid him all together. He is a scam artist, he is obviously sick in the head, and he is not trust worthy.
