I was involved in an accident with an alfa insurance policy holder.  The claims adjuster pretended to be sympathetic at first.  The accident was a very traumatic.  A person died and I was there with them as they died. 

I was very upset, not to mention injured.  I was told to go for therapy and that Alfa would pay for it.  I was also told to get an estimate for counseling to deal with the death.  When I gave them the estimate they claimed they had never said they would pay for it.  So I was out $180.00. I was also told to get an estimate for further treatment for my injury and they would not pay that either.  To add insult to injury my insurance company wants reinbursed for the money they paid out for treatment and Alfa is taking that amount out of my settlement also.   That should be between the two insurance companies not coming out of my settlement.
 
They would not settle my claim for any reasonable amount.  I could possibly have pain for the rest of my life due to the accident.  Their response is they won't pay for any future treatment.  The agent told he he was not going to argue with me.  All I wanted was to be given a reasonable settlement.  Now I am hurt, need counseling and if I settle it will only be enough to pay for treatment I have already had not treatment I need.   Alfa Insurance is a very bad company do not buy insurance from them.
