Alibris.com STUDENTS BEWARE! ALIBRIS REFUSES TO REFUND MY MONEY ON A RETURN! Emeryville California

I ordered what I thought was a text book from Alibris...( more books in FL) by the description and price I believed it to be a used text book in good condition.

Turns out it was just the disc that supplements the book. I returned the item in the same condition as it was shipped to me (unused and unopened) in the same sealed condition as I received it. Alibris is refusing to refund my purchase price. Although I followed their return policy to the letter!

I would also add that my email dealing with More Books of FL was unsuccessful, they were rude and laid blame with Alibris


I returned the item priority mail and certified. I believe this will help me in the end!

The description of this item on the Alibris Webiste was DECEIVING!! I was lead to believe the item for sale was the text book I was looking for. I had a friend also a student review the websit listing for this item and she agreed that the listing would lead the consumer to believe they would be receiving the text book.

BUYER BEWARE!! So far all I have received from Alibris on this matter is several emails denying my return. The first one I received after they received the return was a one line email that said "return denied" with no explaination!

This ordeal started in mid July and I still have no resolution. I paid for priority shipping and it took over 2 weeks to receive the WRONG merchandise. Yet they received my return also sent priority mail in 3 days and denied my return shortly after.
