Alkarim "Alberto” Somani Known as Alberto Attempted to cash old rent cheques that were over a year old. Managed to cash them and drain my account. Stayed in a friends apartment, agreed to pay rent for the month but did not. Also, did the same thing to him with the cheques and tried to start a credit card under his name. Toronto Ontario

Alberto is my ex boyfriend, we split up and moved away from each other in 2020. He kept old cheques from rent that should have been destroyed and managed to alter and cash 5 of them in the amount of almost $7500. Thankfully, my bank was able to retrieve the money back for me.
6 months later, I find out he's done the same thing to someone else. He and this person agreed that he would stay at their place while they were away on business, the rent payment agreement was not met at the end of his time there. While there, he managed to go through this guys stuff and find cheques of his which he was again, able other cash and drained the account.
Thankfully, this guy got the money back from the bank as they saw, like they did in my case, that it was clearly fraud. He also tried starting a credit card under this guys name but that didn't end up happening. We have filed a report with Toronto police and are awaiting them to help us out and lay down some charges.
This guy is a huge loser, has a drug problem, is not a good person and will clearly do anything to get a little money.

I feel sorry for the people he has allegedly ripped off and I hope he is able to change his ways and be able to overcome his addiction issues! What kind of drugs does this guy use?

You were one of the lucky ones! Do not do business with this p***k again! The latest, he got a haircut and ran out the door without paying! Really? Can’t pay for a haircut? If I was still his friend I would be very genuinely concerned for him. His behaviour is erratic and he is out of control. Tell your friends. Tell him, I don’t care. He thinks I don’t know what’s going on but if he would stop stalking me I wouldn’t find out everything. Haven’t spoken to him in years but I hope he knows exactly what I know. I know everything.

I leant this guy $100 bucks before and he paid me back on time and in full. Can’t see him doing this kind of stuff.

Just like said, Alberto totally scammed me. I trusted him and he stole my identity and f*cked my credit and stole all my money from my accounts. On top of that he has left suspicious things in my apartment that to be honest is scary.
If you encounter him. Run away. He takes advantage of good people and think they won’t notice but he’s the ignorant one. We know what you re doing.
