All About Moving Manager, Brad Beasley Disreputable mover damaged irreplaceable family heirlom, then, skips out Johnson City Tennessee

I called Brad Beasley, manager of All About Moving, a local Johnson City, Tn. Moving Co. I had one reques: Please be careful with my mother's antiquet china cabinet.  Brad assured me they would be very careful and he said they have insurance to cover damages. 

Brad, 2 other men and a woman showed up to move us from where we had lived for 28 years to our dream home A few miles away. Larry, Moe and Curley, sorry, I mean, Brad and the other 2 guys forgot some of the items and had to make a return trip, which they tried to charge us for. even with the return trip, they did not bring everything and my husband and I had to return later To get all of our belongings. Maybe we were their first move.

Back to the China cabinet. Brad brought it in to the new house And said it was all right. I then noticed that they didn't put the shelves in the cabinet. i reminded them, but no action. Then, I noticed the 2 men looking at the cabinet. I thought, "oh, no". I really believed they would tell me. I like to think people are honest and true to their word. The very young man started filling out the bill. He wasn't going to say anythin!!

I walked to the cabinet and again reminded about the shelves. I stood by the cabinet and announced, "Oh no,  glass is broken". by this time Brad and the other 2 had vanished Leaving the young man to lie like a dirty crook. He gave me an insurance form and he took a picture. He was very nice and apologized and said Brad would call tomorrow.

The  head lying crook, never called. I called and he was very nice and said, after I told him I could find no one to fix the curved glass, said his insurance would only cover .66 per pound and the cabinet was about 100 lbs. But, he being the wonderful person he was, would bring a check in 3 days For the appaised value of $450. But he would take the cabinet. 

No check came. Brad  never returned any of my calls. I once got a friend to call and leave her name and number. Shocker, he called back and she handed me the phone. He apoliged and said he would mail a check for $225. No check came. 

Oh well. What goes around, comes around.
