All American Homes,Terry Moore Construction ripoff, very poor workmanship, poor quality of materials used, inferior contractor Golden Illinois

Lumber used to build the house was not of good quality like the brochure says. Poor workmanship was used to build the house, scared of what I can't see.

Carpet that was put in my house was not stretched when it was put in. When All American Homes came to stretch the carpet they pulled the nap from the carpet in the living room.

Back of the bar in the kitchen was falling off and I had to nail it back up. Kick panels in the kitchen were coming loose also.

Cabinet drawers in the kitchen are not the same color of stain and the drawers were pieced together.
Patio screen door that is on our home has fallen off 3 times and is of very poor quality. Garage leaks water in a hard rain.

Contractor has his family and friends working for him and they don't know what they are doing. Very poor workmanship. They showed up for work at my house at 9:00 A.M. and would leave by 3:00 P.M. Before I purchased the home they said they would have it done by the time frame we both agreed upon and would have 6 guys working on it to get done, most of the time there were two guys working only.

Work on the drywall was very poor. Drywall was not finished in several places. I ended up doing the drywall work myself with the help of my brother. I also have at least 3 windows that are coming apart, the frame is separating from the window.

When the contractor installed the front door deadbolt it wouldn't work because it hit the striker plate. There was excessive moisture coming up from the basement and collecting on the roof in the attic, in the winter this froze and made a major mess. Half of the attic was covered in ice. Had to call the factory and have them come and fix the problem. When the vanity cabinet in the 2nd bathroom was installed they didn't hit the wall stud with the screws and it was falling off the wall.

The contractor allowed the people who installed the duct work for the heating and a/c to cut the hole in the kitchen at an angle and then they crammed the register vent in the floor, I could barely remove it. When I got it out it was bent up.

Some of the tiles in the kitchen floor are shiny and some are dull. Contractor left the plastic that the home came wrapped in at my house and never picked it up. Very sloppy work, I was picking up trash almost every day.
There are now cracks in the walls again in my bathroom.
The home warranty is a joke, read it they don't want you to see this in full detail. It is unreal, shouldn't even be called a warranty.
