All American Xpress Beware of the 250.00 quitting without notice charge!! Calhoun Georgia

I started with this company as a solo driver and went team after a few months. As a solo driver I made good money and ran my butt off. When I went team it was a huge pay cut. As a team my pay was cut in half due to the way they had the back haul to deliver, it would deliver the day after weekly cut off so we were only paid for 1 trip per week not a complete turn. Also when you sign on with this company you have to sign a waiver allowing them to hold 250.00 from your last check if you quit without notice. I deeloped medical issues 2 months ago and they wouldn't let my co-driver run solo and I would have to hurry up and get back on the truck in order for both of us to keep our jobs. So I came back before I should have. They medication I was taking made it dangerous at the time for me to drive my personal vehichle much less a semi.But still they wanted me back on the truck. We made 1 run down to Florida and had to quit due to my medication reaction. I refuse to be a hazard on the road and endanger someones life. When we quit they were not happy at all. When it came time for payday we didn't get one.They had put our pay on hold per Ron who is head of operations. We called all day trying to get an answer on why they were doing this and we kept getting voice mails and leaving messages with no reply. We had do drive to Calhoun and go face to face with Ron to find out what was going on. He then informed us they held out 250.00 for quitting without notice and another 250.00 for truck clean out and if anything was left owed to us it would be mailed to us instead of direct deposite. The truck was clean when we left it on the yard, it did need to be vaccumed because when we took our rugs out I am sure lint and dirt got on the carpet. The reason for the charge on the truck clean out was they said we ruined the carpet in the truck and left trash in it which was not true,we never used the carpet in that truck because we kept rugs down and we threw away what little trash was in our trash can. So drivers beware if you go to work for this company, they seem great at first but when you have been there a while you will see how things really go.
