I live in Indianapolis and went online to change my address. There were listed sponsors and "deals" that were listed, and All My Sons was one of them. They called me within minutes of having provided an email address to "confirm" my move. They called me upwards of 3 times a day to re-confirm and get more information and finally I said to myself, "I can appreciate aggressive sales so I'll go ahead and utilize this company since I need to hire movers anyways."

My experience was as follows. I spoke with a rep named Daisy who informed me that it is $84 dollars per hour for experienced and licensed movers who are not just strong men but are actually movers who do this full time (which was really awkward to hear to begin with). She told me I would be paying for a minimum of 3 Hours at $84 per hour. Two of those hours would be actual moving hours, and one of those hours was a "travel time" fee. After the two hours there was the option to pay in 15 minute increments (at 21 dollars per 15 minutes). The total (estimate) ended up being $252 dollars. This price did not include packing materials or anything else. Daisy was friendly and polite, but did not tell me about the 42 dollar FUEL fee in addition to the $84 hourly fee- making a total of 126 dollars just to get to and from my place. She told me that it would surely be less than 3 hours (which again made no sense since I was paying for 3 hours but only allowed to use 2 of them). I then got several phone calls trying to re-pitch All My Sons as a moving company, and several emails as well.

I then spoke to a man named Travis who actually booked/confirmed the move. The move was scheduled for Monday Feb 22nd between 7:30 and 9 AM.

I spoke with the OWNER of the Indianapolis branch (Chris Lambert) to thank him and let him know I was excited about the move and reconfirm everything. He went through the 3 hours making a total of $252 and that was that.

The movers arrived at 8:32 AM. When the movers arrived at my door I was horrified. They were dressed differently from one another in no resemblance of a uniform, dirty shabby hair and visible dirt on hands a fingernails. I am glad that I had no white furniture because if I did it would have black handprints on it. They were unprofessional and were not polite. The first thing out of one of the two mens mouth was "I'm just letting you know its going to take some time to get your couch down two flights of stairs" as though he was letting me know that he was going to go slower than necessary in order to rack up more time.

I left to go to work and had my fiancee stay home to assist the movers. As I was leaving I noticed both men sitting on the back of the truck smoking, and wondered if I was paying for their smoke break. At 9:07 the men started moving. I called my fiancee to ask if the men had 8:32 or 9:07 as the start time, and 8:32 was the time. I called the owner immediately and asked him to fix the time and he offered to refund 15 minutes and make our start time 8:45. We used some boxes and tape that they provided (with no breakdown of cost in advance) for some clothes and dishes. I also need to say that there is just my fiance and myself in the 500 sq. ft apartment with minimal stuff. We had a couch, bed, coffee table, desk, ottoman, small tv, and clothes (we moved dishes and books ourselves).

We used the movers until 11:30 AM. That is 2 hrs and 45 minutes. I anticipated paying for 3 hrs and 45 minutes making the total somewhere around 315 dollars plus the cost of boxes which I guessed to be around 30 dollars for 6 boxes and 1 roll of tape. They charged me 120. I was charged a total of 480 dollars to move from one apartment building into another in the same complex.

I will never use this service again and urge others not to as well. They were unprofessional and the number of complaints far outweighs the praises.
