All Pro Moving And Storage Also D.b.a. Father & Son Moving ripoff under different names and I FIXED THEIR WAGON PLUS I AM GOING TAKE THEM TO COURT Medford Massachusetts

I called a local moving company, Father & Son, for my move to Florida. I spoke with Mark who led me to believe they were going to move my on guarenteed pick up and delivery dates for a quoted price of $1700.00. And YES, price was quoted without ever coming to my home!

Movers came and didn't have a single piece of paper work! They loaded the truck. To my surprise the truck was from All Pro Movers, not father and son movers. I had no idea what was going on at this point. After loading my belongings, the driver handed me an inventory sheet without names or addresses on it. I followed the driver outside in the dark and coppied the phone number (508-890-1100) from the outside of the truck.

I was sitting there 10 days later after several phone calls to Elijah Bowles and others when my stuff finnally arrived. Of course, I was quoted $1700.00 but an hour before delivery was informed that it was going to be $2967.00.

YES! I was told over the phone to pay the full amount 0f $2976.00 or my stuff was not coming off the truck.

The driver arrived and refused to give me weigh ticket. He verbally told me the weight. I told him I wanted a reweigh as there was 2 other peoples goods STUFFED into the same truck. He refused. OK, then I was handed several BLANK documents by the driver with highlighted parts for me to sign or my stuff wasn't coming off the truck. After a huge fight with the driver he threatened to dump my stuff onto the sidewalk!

It was hot and the day before Thanksgiving. I must have worn the driver out as I got him to agree that to save time he should give me the paper work to fill out while they unloaded. He obliged. This is where I fixed ALL Pro's wagon but good!

I ran to the complexes office and copied all the blank paper work in color showing the places they wanted me to sign. I noticed that someone at ALL PRO had put one thing on the bill of lading - that I was to pay $1911.00 (instead of the nearly $2900.00 told to me over the phone that morning).

Instead of signing the blank documents, I decided I would fill them out my self! Every place it asked for my signature, I wrote the words "did not receive until shipment was delivered." I filled every blank spot in with either a figure or a question mark so that noone could write anything in after it got back to their office. The best part was that I put on the Bill of lading amount paid in full! I don't know if that driver still works there?!?!

Upon inspection of belongings, NOT ONE thing wasn't damaged in either a small or big way. Several expespensive electronic items were missing and/or stolen. My king sized mattress had been in the truck for 10 days folded in half and torn. Where it was folded made a perminant lump in the middle of my bed.

I filed complaints with the board of transportation in Washington and another with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). I also filed a claim with ALL PRO VAN LINES for my damged and missing belongings. All of which have been a complete waste of time.

I am headed to Court (representing myself) to file a complaint in an attempt to get restitution for my damged and missing belongings. Among other things, I cannot wait to produce the bill of lading and other documents from ALL PRO to a judge and/or jury! I am not letting this go for myself and for all the others who have been ripped off by these movers.

I will continue to update my process through the court system on this site in hope it will help someone else.
