All Star Movers & Packaging DO NOT USE THIS MOVER! Dania, Florida

This is absolutely the worst moving company I have ever hired.  They are very charming on the phone, but that's where it ends.  They are incompetent beyond belief. 

The contract states "sanitized trucks, all furniture shrink wrapped, Better Business Bureau members".  It is all lies.  They showed up with a Penske truck and the 2 men got into a fight.  One of our neighbors called the dispatcher and threatened to call the police.  It took them 9 HOURS to load a 1-bedroom apartment and they weren't done.  At 9 P.M. they announced there was no room for the piano.  The piano was clearly listed on my contract.  We were forced to go to a hotel.

The next day, they showed up with a U-Haul trailer hitched to the back of the Penske.  This was for the piano.  Then they said that they needed help with the piano, so we waited HOURS for another totally inept person to show up. They then stored the truck and trailer in the heat for several days so they could go do another move. We lived for 5 days with nothing but an air mattress.  When our stuff finally arrived, most of it was damaged.  The sofa was torn and dirty.  The dining room furniture was all scraped, gouged and nicked.  The piano was the same.  The kitchen work table was warped and had black grease on it.

These are NOT movers.  I think they just find day laborers and rent a truck.  It was a really bad experience and now we cannot get them to send us the claim form.  They insist that they have e-mailed it, but of course, they haven't.  I would love to see them in court, and maybe I will.
