My first complaint on All Star with furthermore to come. They packed and shipped our things to our new address from R.I. to Fl. and gave us a form with teh mailing address to file claims of damaged items during the move. Not only did they charge us almost triple the amount than what was quoted before delivery, but they also broke 70% of our stuff. The day of delivery, we were given a claim filing procedure form that says take pics of everything and what other information to provide. then says,  Claims may be submitted in writing to our office at:

All Star Moving Services, LLC
501 Penhorn Ave, Suite 5
Secaucus NJ, 07094

Once we finished unpacking and inspected all of our things, we sent all claim forms to the above address with photos and descriptions of the items damaged. I mailed the forms in a large manilla envelope on 9/25/12 (tues). I recieved a voice message from All Star on 9/28/12 (fri.) stating I sent the forms to the wrong address and that they were going to send my forms to the right address. They did not leave a name or number to call back for any questions. When I located the number myself, I called and asked if the forms were sent to the correct location and if not, if it were possible to send it back to me so I may do it myself. All I got for an answer was "I don't know. Try back next week." Now I am on a time frame on requesting some reimbursement on 70% of the items that they dameged and all they say is I don't know. No help, not polite, and unprofessional since day one. I called back on 9/28/12 (fri.) and on 10/3/12 (Wed.). Apparently, the claims department is located in N.Y. and the address they provided to me at delivery was their business address in N.J. Why would All Star give an address to mail my claims form if that was not the correct address to file??? Where are my forms???? I would have preferred my forms be mailed back to me to be sure it was not tampered with as I Highly do not trust this company.

On Thurs. 10/4/12, I again contacted All Star and rep says to me : "yes your forms were forwarded to the correct address to file your claim." I asked when and she said I don't know. So I called the number to the claims department that All Star had given me hoping they can help me. The Claims Department called All Star, then called me back and said, "All Star never forwarded your claims form to us. They will put it in the mail today (10/04/12)." They said that to me 6 days ago. My fiance and I have had a nightmare experience with this company and would not even refer them to our worst enemy!!!!
