All Star Moving Services,LLC All Star Moving & Storage Quoted 1535 to move me from ny to ca. but upon arrival quoted 4200. Items missing and broken upon arrival Secaucus, New Jersey

I called this company after reading reviews online. Unfortunately the good reviews I was reading were from a company with same name in Brooklyn. I spoke with Tara she assured me my quote of 1535 would be the cost to move me from n.y. to ca.

When they arrived to move my things,I recieved a phone call that the price would be 4200. After trying to get the price down, they said it would be 3000.

They arrived in a very large semi truck.I was told they couldn't get truck in here and would need to get a smaller truck. They than added an additional 250. to get a small truck to unload my items.

After unloading items they have you sign an unlegible paper stating your inventory. I received a box of broken antiques,when I asked about it. He stated if they didn't pack it their not responsible. I had 2 chairs damaged. An antique black walnut coffee table missing. A box of paintings and pictures missing. An antique mahogony night stand missing. A four foot iron living room stand missing. A box of clothes and bedding missing.

I left a message in regards to missing items,my call was not returned. I called and spoke with Tara and she said they would call back about my items, which I haven't heard back. After this happening, I looked up reviews online and can see this is a common quote 1500 they tell everyone. Once there, the price doubles and than some. Also I can see that others have had missing items and damage done to property.
