All stars of North Carolina is a staffing company I worked for . The owners name is Michael Phelps. This company opened last year in September 2006 and by January it was already having financial problems.
In May 2007 the owner,Michael Phelps laid off all the staff. He said that in about two weeks he would call everybody back in. I think at that point he had no intentions of calling me back. I was a hard worker and I was there from the beginning helping it get off the ground. He laid me off adn on top of that he owe me almost a month worth of pay. Recently he reopened his business under another name,probably to avoid any contact from the Department of Labor.
He is a very cold hearted person to do that to me and he knew that my financial situation was in bad shape. So to anyone out there that is thinking about working for him, they better think twice.
