ALL STATE EXPRESS MOVING & STORAGE MOVING SCAMS, FRAUD, LIARS, MOVERS STEALING BROOKLYN New York

To make a long and sad story short, we hired a moving company to wrap our belongings and transport from CT to FL on 6/27/2008. When I first spoke with this company, I asked detailed questions and basically they lied about everything. I was very strict of one rule of using a moving a company. I needed it guaranteed that our belongings were going to get packed into a truck, and they were going to be delivered straight to a storage room in Naples. The Rep, Dani, reassured me that they used their own trucks, and our items would go straight on the truck and straight to Florida, which was a complete lie. When we met with the mover in Naples, it was a different truck, and definately not one of theirs. This would explain why all of our things were damaged and stolen.

To be exact, this was the situation. Our original agreement was: the move was going to cost $1250.00 for an estimated over amount of 500 cu. ft. Upon the guys arriving, packing and loading, with their fraudulent ways, they calculated 1200 cu. ft. Tell me how, it's not even explainable.They became angry when we talked about the price and stated either we paid the $3,000.00 bill right up front OR they throw all of our items on the side of the street and charge us $800.00 for the packing materials which was ridiculous.

With them leaving us with no choice and tears in my eyes, I paid them and they left. Upon receiving our belongings: Broken furniture, a damaged motorcycle with a missing key, broken equipment valued over $5,200.00, a missing/stolen brand new HP desktop PC and a rude manager screaming at me over the phone to sign the bill or he wasn't going to cover my Insurance at 0.60 per lb. which was even more ridiculous.

I refused to sign the bill because I had missing items. Therefore, he refuses to cover me and/or even work with m to get this resolved. Just to mention, I also took pictures of my items before they were loaded (in perfect shape) and then as the mover was unloading the truck, the pictures show boxes upon boxes that were stacked on my motorcycle causing the damage.

I DEFINATEY WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. THEY SHOULD BE SUED!
