Allen Deary is the COO of KnowledgeVision Systems located in Lincoln, MA (formerly located in Concord, MA).  Allen Deary has been accused of fraud by the Securities & Exchange Commission.  Allen Deary avoided prison time and paid an enormous fine along with his co-conspirator over the deliberately false information he gave to investors.  You can see the SEC public announcement regarding Allen Deary and his fraud scheme here:

This history of fraud by Deary probably explains why certain of the software provided by KnowledgeVision to its customers did not perform as promised.  It seems that a fraudster will always be a fraudster.

Strangely, the CFO of KnowledgeVision, Jeffrey (Jeff) Cooper, is well aware that Deary was accused and fined by the SEC for such investor fraud and that KnowledgeVision software did not perform as promised to, and purchased by, KnowledgeVision customers.  

When it comes to Allen Deary and Jeffrey Cooper, the old adage of "birds of a feather flock together" seems truer today more than ever.
