Allen, Lewis and Associates have been calling my house for about two months now. The first time they called they would not tell me who they were, and what they wanted. I thought it was a prank call. When they called again I asked if they were debt collectors they said no I asked if they were lawyers they said no. When they called a third time the guy said he was an attorney and I asked what he wanted. He said that I owed $900 for an instrument. I told him I had receipts for that instrument. I asked him his name I believe he said Rob West. I asked him what type of Lawyer he was and he told me I only needed to worry about getting that $900. I asked my daughter to look up the company and she found out that they were a debt collection agency. I was very upset that they lied to me.

#2 Consumer Suggestion

they have violated the law you maybe elegible for a cash settlement from them

AUTHOR: Walter - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, August 29, 2007

From the incidents that you have mentioned they have violated several sections of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act.
1) They have definitely misrepresented themselves. FDCPA prohits that or for a debt collector to id themselves as attorneys(unless they truly are)

The FDCPA provides for up to $1000 for each violation..
As a former collector I once applied with them. The manager was so rude that I was ready to hit him myself(remember this was a job interview) I walked out on it and told him that I wouldnt work with bottom feeders like them.

I hope I do not offend anyone or be accused of spamming but I have the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act on my website for you to read so you can be aware of you rights.
(((ROR REDACTED)))

A couple of years ago I go calls and they stepped way over the line. I got an attorney and they settled with me

I went through Morgan & Morgan
(((ROR REDACTED)))

I urge you to follow up on it and send a message to Allen Lewis by means of legal action that their conduct will not be tolerated

If I can be of any help feel free to contact me

Ask him what his license # in the state bar is.
