ALLIANCE GATE INVESTMENT INC NORTH AMERICAN LOTTERY SWEEPSTAKES FAKE CHECK FOR $3,425 NEW YORK, New York

I received a letter from ALLIANCE GATE INVESTMENT INC claiming that I had won the North American Lottery Sweepstakes Unclaimed Prize Division.  There was a $150,000 unclaimed prize in my name.  All I had to do was call Sandra Williams at 1-647-893-7700 and send her $2,576.55 by MONEYGRAM or WESTERN UNION.  Enclosed was a check with a UPS logo that looks like the real thing for $3,425.  It says to use this check to pay taxes and insurance.  The envelope was postmarked from Canada and there was no return address on the envelope.
