AlliedBarton Security Services - Edin - Eddie Kosaric My weirdest most umprofessional interview ever. Cincinnati Ohio

I was told by a friend that this security service Allied Barton Security Services here in Cincinnati is a professional employer. I was mininformed. I had arrived at security desk more than 10 minutes early. The desk officer didn't know I had been scheduled for an interview. I wait 10 minutes for a visitor badge that another supervisor was on site for an interview. Then, I was told that Edin Kosaric had left for that day but, that information had been misinformetd and Kosaric would be returning.

I greet the gentleman, smile and he asks me to follow him back to an interview room. I politely ask to film my interview so I can get better at my flaws and he angrily objects. I calmly proceed to tell him that "It's okay if you don't want me to film and put away my .tripod and camera.

He asks me about my history of 'where I lived.' Okay.

Where I 'went to school' and 'my major.' Okay.English and Journalism. Okay.

What do I 'know about security?' Okay. Well I answered, "Do you mean programs like: Infraguard, Trapwire, Artemis, Biometric-Fingerprint readers, security cards, security cameras, checkpoints, patrols, the whole 9 yards.....observe and report. Okay....

He replies, "Do you think I'm stupid?" Okay.....

I reply,"No not at all..."

He asks, "Why do you want to be in Security?" Okay......

I reply, "I have a background in hospitality management and customer service. My last job taught me a lot"

He asks, "Why are you insulting me?"Okay.......

I then tell him,"I'm not trying to insult you." Okay........

Then he asks, "Why are you even here?"

I reply, "I want to find out about the job and your management style. Some people are like nails, hammers, and craftsman...which are you? A hammer hits nails all day, a nail has no purpose without a hammer, and a craftsman makes things better. I always want to make things better like a craftsman or carpenter." Okay.......

"That's it this interview is over...." WTF-moment *laughs inside almost loled* "Have a good afternoon."

"Okay fine...." As I walk out infront of other office employees "I hope your management skills improve after this."

If this is the way the company is run, I've seen Charlie Chaplin have a better amount of professionalism than this guy. I hope Edin find a better strategy to handle his inner peace and demons.
