I was served by Alliance One, a Collection Agency for the city of seattle which deals with upaid parking tickets.I was adviced by the good people of Rip-off Report to sed a certified letter disputing their claim and to have them verify the debit. So I sent them a letter disputing their claim and waited for their response. I received a letter from the city of Seattle instead of Alliance verifying the unpaid tickets which mostly belong to my exgirl friend,I had not transfered the title to her name. Do I OWE THE CITY OF SEATTLE ANYTHING NOW BECAUSE THEIR RESPONSE WAS MORE THAN THIRY DAYS ACCORDING TO BOTH CERTIFIRED LETTER'S DATES.

Thanks Dave for your feed back but I do have a further question, I thought if you dispute a debit with a creditor they have 30 days to prove you owe them, In my case it took the city of Seattle 34 days to validate the debit. My question is what is the Statue of limitation?

They complied by sending you the information you requested. Just because you told them 30 days, doesn't mean they have 30 days. They may take longer.
As far as owing, yes, regardless of who was parking the car illegally, you owe the money because the car was registered to you. And if you don't pay, you may wake up with a wheel lock on your car, or not be able to renew license of registration...
