Warning to all alltel customer check your bills carefully. Alltel has several extra charges on bills

Also csrs is advised by supervisor not to tell the entire truth to customers.

All csrs have power to take off $30 with out asking a supervisor. Every time you call customer care you should ask for money off your bill.

Alltel will only give ypu this discount if you are pleasant when you call them. If you are angry and you take it out on a csr they won't help you or give you a $30 discount.

I don't quite understand why your post is suggesting customers of Alltel should ask for a $30 credit on their bills. If there is no billing mistake and they are not due a credit why should they get one. If there is an issue with the bill the customer should ask for the amount of the mistake. I have been an employee for many years and help my customers if there is an error on their bill. I am not aware of any automatic $30 credits for bills. We follow a very detailed process for any adjustments

Also if you have a supervisor who asks you to do things you feel are unethical you should report them to the ethics department. If you simply do as you are told then you too are guilty of taking advantage of customers.

Alltels Csr get credit for extending your contract. Reps are told to try many different things to get the contract extended,

Alltel will not admit to saying this.

Alltel trys promo, new phones, or switching service plans and will extend your contract with out your permission.

Be carefull every time you call the csr dept or go to a local store.
