I have dealt too many times with this company. They have great rates on their website to tons of countries, so I bought cards to call Mexico Mobile (the GREEN CARD), and Israel Mobile (the REAL MINUTES card). Mexico Mobile was supposed to be something like 6 cents a minute. Ended up being about 30 cents a minute. I demanded a refund. They tried to give me a card that would be only 12 cents a minute. Tried that, it was another rip off. Finally they refunded the card. Then I called my sister in Israel, which is supposed to be 2.9 cents a minute. Turns out it was 11 cents a minute. I called cust. service again and they said the cards are only for ONE CALL, and maybe I made two calls? The second call, this woman said, would not be as cheap as the advertised rate. WHAT? Well, the website doesn't mention THAT anywhere, even in the fine print! But do read the fine print (under more info) because they have a lot of hidden fees, and the ever popular "We may change the rates whenever we like." disclaimer.
In any case, I have been defrauded by this disgusting company over and over again and I will never again deal with them. I hope they go out of business promptly. If any AloSmart.com employee sees this complaint, know this: you can't buy me. I am not for sale. You could offer me $1000, and I would not retract this complaint.
