Alpha Star Loans - Rauph Miller - Mr. Thomas - Larry Cortel Took $965.00 from as a six month advance payment for a $5000 loan Manhassett New York

Rauph Miller of Alphastar Loans arranged a contract for $5000. I would pay $965.00 in advance, which would be my payment toward this loan for six months. In six months I would start monthly payments of 162.00. He said the $5000 would be deposited into my checking account the next day after I wired $965.00 to Doug Chappelle in Ottawa Canada. I did this and the next day the money was not in my account. I received a call from a man name Larry who said he was with customer service and that the lender had decided that I needed to send another $965.00 to secure this loan. At this time I knew I had been scammed. I told him that I wanted my money back, he said it would be sent to me in 30 days. I continued to call to remind them to send my money. The day the money was due to be sent I spoke with a Mr. Thomas, he said the money had been sent out and to call back for a tracking number. I called but no answer, after several days the telephone rang one time and a recording said good-by. I am out of $965.00. I reported to Better Business and the New York Attorney General. These people have got to be stopped.
