I received an email inviting me to try Hoodia for only the cost of $1.99 to cover shipping and handling.

I made a huge mistake and ordered the "free" bottle on January 24, receiving it on January 30.It came all by itself in a padded envelope with no invoice, instructions, nothing.

I went on vacation for one week on January 31 only to come home and find 2 more bottles of Hoodia with different labels and contact information and my latest credit card statement with a charge of $99.90. I hadn't even opened the first bottle yet!

I called all the phone #'s on the 2 differetly labeled bottles and couldn't reach a live person. I left my phone # as requested on the voice mail but was never called back.

I contacted my credit card company who was able to get ahold of a represntative who told me once it's charged there are no returns and no credits. It is stated obscurely on their web site along with the disclaimer of the customer having to send a registered letter. Their webside states that "After the 14 Day Free Trial you agree to purchase a 2 month supply (billed at 99.90 reoccurring every 60 days for 2 billing cycles) of Hoodia Thin. The free trial is for first time customers only."

It wasn't until after I hung up that I realized this fraudulent company didn't even give me 14 days before they sent out the 2 bottles I didn't order.

I don't even know if this stuff works as an appetite suppressant. But I will tell you what does... losing $99.90 to a crooked company that customers can't even contact!
