This seemingly nice guy named Lucas Wilker came to my door to sell magazine subscriptions. He actually repeatedly tried to come in my house. I wouldn't let him in. However, I couldn't get him to leave until I purchased at least one subscription. So I wrote a check for $32.00. Not thinking anything of it until now. I finally found the receipt, typed in the web add. and this page shows up. Nothing else has happened to my checking account. I would like to go back and see who endorsed my check, but it's a little late. He did talk about coming from California though. Oh well, I hope nobody else falls for this.

Come on- that is the lamest excuse in the world.
You said he tried to come in several times and then refused to leave?
YOU SHOULD HAVE CALLED THE POLICE!
If it had been me in your situation - this scammer would have been dealing with a law-abiding gun owner as well as the police!
