Always Moving Refuses to file insurance claim for damage done to my goods and house Dallas Texas
*General Comment: If...
Like another report, they came and charged me $800 more over quote. I was ok with that. However, when they delivered my household goods from Mountain View to Jersey City, it was missing a few boxes and also damaged a large number of items and put holes in my walls while moving furniture, totalling over $1,000 in damages. I tried calling to file an insurance claim and have been automatically screened and sent to their customer service voicemail box, with no return phone call. The operator who picks up now knows my number and sends it directly to voicemail. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I have a contract with my insurance rights and if I do not hear back from them, will contact a lawyer.

If ANY time has passed from the move in date until you attempted to file a claim then they are going to continue to deny your attempts. When a incident as YOU have described happens it must be IMMEDIATLY documented. YOU needed the driver and movers to sign a piece of paper stating that THEY caused these damages. If they DID NOT do this before they left, then the moving company is going to assume that YOU are just a scammer trying to get something for free. I agree that IF they did this then they should be made to pay for it. BUT!!! If YOU did not report this IMMEDIATYLY and you tried to report it the next day then THEY are going to assume you are scamming.
