Over in Cebu this company hires people to telemarket for them and pay $11 a day aproximately.  Being they are several time zones away these poor folks have to work overnight for this pitiance of a pay.

A training class was going through and the company encountered some issue and sent the workers home unpaid for several days.

Due to the near slave wages some of the workers needed to find legitimate employement that had them working daily.

The company now refuses to pay the wages of those people for the time they were in training despite their system having gone down.


I attempted to contact the company and I was ignored.  Apperently they are not interested in discussing their lack of morals, eithics, or behaving as a legitimate business.

CEO lies

The Person reported this is saying the truth, this company violates a lot of labor practices, but what the hell! they think that most of their employees are to dumb to say nothing.

I was one of those people who they haven't payed yet. i resigned, i had lost hope and assurance that these people who we call bosses can help us in any way.

1. They pay us 327 pesos a day (We work on a graveyard shift) BTW 327 is a minimum wage, yet they ask too much from us (327 is equivalent to $ 8.00), Ameeratel is the lowest paying call center here in cebu.

2. They terminate trainees and employees without due process, its just to easy for them to do that, specially this new CEO the one who replied on the first statement, i wonder why they hire people like him, he knows nothing yet pretending to know everything. He should try to dial for the entire shift so that he knows the hardships we encounter each and everyday

3. No Healthcare, No assurance on everything, they always threathen trainees to be terminated, they're taking advantage on the lack of job opportunities presented on our current industry.

4. A friend of mine who's still workng their for 4 mos. now is still receiving a minimum wage, he keeps on waiting for their promise for a probationary status and an additional pay for it, but 3 mos. later the company is again threatening him to be remove/terminated

5. They prefer to terminate capable, tenure employees because its costly, they prefer to hire new employees coz they can play with them for awhile yet they cost less, imagine they're taking advantage to new college grads or undergrads.

6. Ameeratel is the most stressfull, absurd, law abiding call center - Hell No!!! and you Mr. CEO, use your brain...i wonder why you became a CEO? your rude, ruthless and brainless


Now that we know about Ripoff, i can pass the word so that those who want to speak up can do so....
