American Alarm is a SCAM and DIRTY company. I worked for American Alarm and found out the hard way that this compnay does not pay. They will scam you out of a paycheck. I am starting a class action lawsuit against American Alarm, Darryl Johnson and Danielle Paletz. I was threatened by Darryl Johnson in which I do have recorded on Audio.

This company has the biggest turn over rate in the valley. They turn and burn their employees by not paying them and making them quit. They have been doing this for years now and I'm looking for anybody that has been treated the same way. I am filing a Class Action Law Suit very soon. Please contact me: (((email redacted)))

File a claim with the particulars to your states wage and hour commission or their equivalent.  That is the best way to go.

If your claim is just they can help you, if it isn't you really shouldn't attempt to file a claim.

Envision Security was Incorporated in January 2011. Since incorperating, Envision has protected over 6000 cusomers in Arizona and California. I Darryl Johnson was never a Owner, Director, or Officer of American Alarm Company Inc. I worked at American Alarm as a Sales Manager from 2004-2009. I resigned in 2009 to seek employement elseware. Envision Security is Licensed, Bonded and Insured with an A+BBB record and over 600 reviews that are positive online. I am the sole owner of Envision Security Inc.

Envision does compensate there customers for taking the time to write a review online. This compensation is for an honest review of how we service our customers. We do not request the review to be positive or negative just write the review and receive a small fee for doing so. We believe if it takes time out of your day we should compensate you. Envision has all licenses, insurances and documents to lawfully install and sell security in Arizona and California. We welcome anyone to visit our corperate location in Az to verify our company.

The facts stated above are not quite accurate. I Darryl Johnson never owned American Alarm, I never signed checks or was I on a checking account or was I a Principal or Director of this corperation. I worked as an employee creating sales for the company from 2004-2009. In 2009 I left American Alarm to work for a company in Las Vegas. After 1 year in Vegas I came home  and decided to create Envision Security Inc in January 2011. Envision was founded on the principal of Quality with Integrity. I am the 100 percent owner of Envision Security Inc and carry all licenses, Bonds and Insurances in AZ and CA to operate legally. We care about our customers and there familys so after every Installation completed by my company I email my customers personally to VERIFY that we did a quality job and to see if there happy. WE do offer $30 for a review and facebook like to encourage our customers to write down there experience of our company. We do this because we want feed back from our customers, and we compensate them because we also know that time is money. I run an honest business, I love protecting my customers and, I welcome concerned patrons to call or stop by our facility anytime. We have an A+ BBB, and over 600 online reviews that prove we are doing an outstanding and have protected over 5600 new customers since incorperating.

I Did Research

Hello. I had a company a few months back that came to my door trying to take over my American Alarm account. They promised me bigger and better things. I thought it was funny that they knew the ins and outs of my current American Alarm system. So, I did some research. Envision Security located in Peoria (8550 N 91st Ave, Ste#1) started in 2009 and the president/CEO/owner of Envision just so happened to be Darryl Johnson. The same Darryl Johnson that owned American Alarm now owns another security company. I Googled his name and found nothing but negative reviews, angry ex-customers, etc. He accumulated so much negativity through American Alarm that he started a new company to try and make a second profit on all of his previous customers and unfortunately conned many of them into signing up with his new company. He pays Envision customers up to $90 to write positive reviews for him in an attempt to counteract this negativity. Long story short, I did not sign up with Envision. For those of you who have been ripped off by American Alarm, Envision Security, or Darryl Johnson in general I have just given you his new business name and business address so you can join me in walking into his building with my American Alarm paperwork and telling him to rectify this.

Hello Darryl,

I am a customer (or should I say former customer) of American Alarm company.  I see that you have stated that you are one of the largest companies in the valley.  In May of 2009, we signed up with your company and prepaid for three years of service.  I found out the other day that your company went out of business last year.  We found this out because we were trying to get another sign for our front yard.  When we contacted Monitronics, they notified us of the company closing.  We never received any notice and have been thinking for the past year that we were still being monitored.  I am very disappointed because we paid almost 1200.00 for one year of service.  This means that I am owed 800.00.  I am kind of curious of how many people are out there that think they still are being monitored.  I also wonder if you are still collecting auto payments from the people that are not aware?  It would be great if you would respond, especially considering that there is not one working number for me to call.  I just wish I would have looking in to your company further since there have been so many complaints.  It is really unfortunate.

UN-American Alarm.. this company has no honor

american alarm has horrible service and even worse equipment. I have made two complaints to the BBB regarding this company.  They have been to my house 5 times and my alarm still doesn't work.  I have had to pay the permits to the city of phoenix because they didn't pay them like they said they would in their contract.  I also never received a reply regarding my second BBB complaint, they ignored it completely.  It is rumor this company hires individuals with a criminal record to sell their alarm systems... am I the only person that sees something a bit wrong with that??? I stopped paying for the alarm service I have not been receiving. I am thankful I did not set up automatic payment.  My first clue there was something completely wrong with this company when they have a separate company call you for a "survey", which they call about 5 times a day, I have call logs to prove it.  In the survey they want you to verbally agree to a lengthy contract and record the conversation... sneaky!  I refused their "survey".  I wish I had refused their service all together.  My salesman was Kevin Klink, thank you sir for your crummy service and not keeping your promise, I am sure glad my cell phone worked when my panic button wouldn't.

I was an employee in 2007.  I reconfirm this report by saying my own words in another report- a separate one I filed.  Please review this as well.  They failed to pay me 4081 dollars in addition to the hundreds of other employees.  Please Please take my advice and don't buy or work for this company.

I have worked with Am. Alarm Co. for about 3 months now. I have had enough time to get to know the company and the people that work here. There are people that come and go but that's because this job requires dedication and hard work. There are alot of people that don't want to do physical work and that's what this is. I can count on anyone in this company to help me whenever I might ask for help.
So that you Mr and Mrs Johnson for the opportunity to work for you and your Co.

PS: As for the people that might be rude to a customer, that is on them and they are no longer involved with our co.

So ive worked for this company going on 3 years now. during this whole time with company ive received 156 checks from this company. not once was my check incorrect, if there were any discrepencies it was resolved that same day and i always went back to work completly satisfied. :) this much i know from personal experience, if the sales rep or employee was completley honest from the beginning with themselves and everyone else they always got what they deserved!

Choose another profession. American Alarm will steal from you by shorting your paycheck. This company has a very bad rep with the alarm industry. One of the owners is on drugs (cocaine). This is a bad company. This company has the highest turnover rate of any alarm dealer. RUN, RUN, RUN.

American Alarm is a Professional company located in Litchfield Park Az that was established in 2004, we currently have serviced over 12,000 customers in the valley of the sun! We have several salespersons that will solicite new bussines for our company, in the case above a salesperson was hired to to recruit new salespersons for our growing company, an issue came up where Mr Mark **** the poster of the rip off report about American Alarm was very unprofessional and foul in our office on July 4 2008.

The Sheriff was invovled and Mr Mark **** is currently facing pending charges with the local county attorneys office. This is a simple dispute over poor communication on Mr **** part. American Alarm is a great company that provides more security systems in the valley then all other companys combined! We value our customers and staff and understand clearly that we would not be in business without them.
