American Capital Strategies Tried to scam $2,500.00 from me New York New York

After visiting Lending Tree online requesting a home loan with zero credit. I was emailed a letter saying I had been approved for $170,000.00. I was instructed to call Anita Anderson to get more info. After speaking with anita I was faxed a contract accepting their offer. I was told I would have to secure the loan for $2,500. My husband wondered how they could approve us with no income verification or credit report. He also didn't think you should have to pay money to get money. I researched them and we believed it to be a scam. I did not call her back or sign the contract. 4 days later she called me and said they would have to retract the offer if I did not sign the contract and secure the loan right now. I told her I did not want her money. I have had no further contact with them.


I have since found several websites for lending that look exactly like the one she sent me. American Capital Strategies, Ltd is a legit company. But her company is American Capital Strategies. AcStrategies is their website. I am glad we did not lose any money with them.
