We take any complaints or comments very seriously, but this is clearly a false claim probably from a competitor - Let us show you why

(Mary if you are real, please call us Toll Free immediately we have never heard of this claim/issue, and have never heard from you
but if you are legitimate, we will, of course, address your problem instantly.
)

Herein, we will address;
1) what American CPR Training is,
2) what American CPR Training is NOT,
3) why this report is obviously fabricated,
4) who we suspect posted this, and
5) how their false report has actually backfired and assisted us rather than harm us.

First

What American CPR Training is:

  • American CPR Training has been teaching lifesaving skills for 20 years throughout the US, Canada, Mexico, and more recently, Worldwide.

  • American CPR Training ~ America's Favorite CPR, AED & First Aid Training is more than just the Leader in Safety Training throughout the US, Canada, & Mexico...

  • American CPR Training is the Time, the Price, and TWICE the Fun! (rather than taking our word for it view our really low Safety Training rates here: http://www.americancpr.com/specialty.html or get a quote for your own safety training here: http://www.americancpr.com/quote.php)

  • American CPR Training also offers all aspects of Environmental Health & Safety consulting, training, products, management, and services.

  • We offer CPR Training, AED Courses, First Aid Classes and 100's of other OSHA Safety Training topics in an accelerated format at your location of choice (training at work, home, you name it - we come to you!) using the knowledge of the industry's leading professionals, presented in an entertaining and informative manner. Our OSHA Safety Training classes are offered in a "corporate style", accelerated format ~ designed to comply with the most current OSHA, ECC; and other National regulations, yet still save time and money by cutting out unnecessary breaks and video time. First Aid Training, CPR Courses, AED, BBP + 100 other safety topics!

  • American CPR Training is A+ rated by the Better Business Bureau (and this is the free rating we dont pay for upgraded listings.)

  • American CPR Training is one of the fastest growing privately held corporations in America according to Inc. Magazine out of almost 7 million companies, we are rated the 368th fastest growing Business Product and Service Companyquite a feat for a 20 year old company one would expect spectacular growth in early years, but to sustain such growth after two decades, and in a questionable economy says quite a bit about us.

  • American CPR Training has thousands of Instructors worldwide, has conducted tens of thousands of classes and certified hundreds of thousands of individuals in vital lifesaving skills like First Aid, CPR, AED use, and fire safety. Statistically, 1 out of every 79 adults in the USA has learned CPR, First Aid or other safety Skills from American CPR Training.

  • All American CPR Training Instructors are trained, certified medical professionals and educators. Most of our Affiliate Instructors are Nurses, Firefighters, EMTs and Doctors. We also utilize the newest and most advanced equipment available for our classes. American CPR Training is quoted throughout the Safety Industry as an authority on First Aid, CPR & AED, and is listed as an authorized and recognized certification by most government and licensing authorities.
Second

What American CPR Training is not:

  • American CPR Training does NOT offer OSHA cards (but, interestingly, NIOSH/OSHA is our Client, along with the White House, every branch of the Military, nearly every State Government in the Nation, and most of the Fortune 500 we actually train OSHAs employees in CPR & First Aid!)

  • American CPR Training is not expensive quite the opposite see our training prices: http://www.americancpr.com/specialty.html - we average 50%-80% below any other Nationally Recognized CPR & First Aid Training Certification Program

  • American CPR Training has never changed its name in 20 years, we have always been American CPR Training - true, there is a parent corporation, and true; there are product, public service, and media divisions with additional/other names, but American CPR Training has always been American CPR Training.

  • American CPR Training has never been sued.

Third

Why American CPR Training knows this is a fictitious report:

This is not an American CPR Training client filing this report.

  1. Primarily, we know this is false because in 20 years we have only had 3 requests for a refund out of tens of thousands of training classes conducted. Of these three requests, two were immediately granted (neither class took place as scheduled - in one case a medical emergency, the other a weather calamity in each case the client was unable to reschedule) and one was declined (the client, admittedly, scheduled a course they did not need, versus the course they did need which we recommended instead while they admitted it was completely their error, despite our recommendations otherwise, and that we conducted the full class perfectly as contracted, they asked us for a refund because they wanted to reschedule a different class. We could not do this after already incurring all our expenses of conducting the class as agreed, and educating their group in the topics we were hired to.) None of these three requests were from Texas, as this purported client that filed this report claims to be.

Furthermore, we researched all training classes scheduled in Texas (the search criteria we used were; Texas, past three years, and $1000.) We did not limit our research to Houston, 2 years, and $2000 per the claim above - we keep extensive records, and we cast a broader net to assure we had researched this thoroughly. There arent that many results as you can perceive, by checking our training rates, a class costing $2000 would generally be 70 or more students. Training classes that size arent very common; most are 5 to 40 students per class. Of all the training agreements and classes conducted meeting this criteria; none had a contact person named Mary (and oddly, only 7 had students named Mary, 6 of which filled out exceptional student evaluations, and the other was a child whose Mother filled out a great evaluation,) all of these classes were for CPR, First Aid, AED, BBP (Bloodborne Pathogens & Universal Precautions) or a combination of these safety course topics none for OSHA or an OSHA Safety topic.

Finally, this is clearly a false claim as if this were a real American CPR Training client with a real claim, the claimant (who claims she has been pursuing a refund for 2 years) would identify herself by full name, company, etc. Why would they not list their Company name and contact information if this were a legitimate issue? How would we contact them to offer a refund if this were genuine?

  2. If this were a genuine claim why havent they sued American CPR Training? As noted above, American CPR Training  has never been sued (remarkable for a Company our age) if this person/company was really cheated out of $2000 wouldnt it stand to reason that they would use the Courts to get it back it took us 3 minutes to discover that they could have filed in Houston Small Claims Court for resolution - and at a whopping cost of $34  (http://www.ehow.com/how_6753330_prepare-small-claims-court-houston.html.) If this report/claim was legitimate, we feel certain they could have discovered this option on their own, in their own City, and in 2 years we have been trying to get our $2000 dollars back.

  3. We doubt that an Organization or Company responsible enough to pay $2000 to train their employees or members in these vital lifesaving skills we offer would be so careless as to allow a person with such horrid grammar and spelling to represent them in a public forum such as this. Other than basic structure, there are glaring mistakes such as there instead of their, a arm instead of an arm, its instead of its (or better yet, it has) Has anyone ever heard of spelling and grammar check? Most internet browsers will check as you type. No professional organization would allow this post rife with errors to be put forth as a representation of their quality and nature.
Fourth

Why American CPR Training suspects this report was filed by a competitor:

Have you ever heard of The Pot calling the Kettle Black? Or the expression A Thief believes everyone steals? We suspect this report was filed by a nasty, vindictive little competitor (well, they see themselves as competitors, but they are nowhere near our size, reputation, or league in general) that has used many similar tactics in the past. This little company (headed by a former and Banned American CPR Training Instructor) has tried to mimic our business model, name, products and services, and general plan for years. They have failed. While we keep growing exponentially, they remain a meager little company with reports of bad service, internal strife, and high employee turnover. We suspect that (along with errors like the Fifth point below) much of this is because they are obsessing with American CPR Training and its affiliated companies, rather than building their own business on what strengths they have. This company spends ridiculous amounts of time attacking our companies with false claims to suppliers, clicking on our paid advertisements online, and any other petty annoyances they can come up with. None of these things cause any real harm the advertising costs are refunded, the suppliers laugh about their antics behind their back and make fun of them it is really a shame can you imagine what growth they might achieve if they put this time and effort to productive purposes? And to the original point We have had reports that this group offers false certifications by uneducated Instructors, that they have a number of  dissatisfied clients and claims, and we know from when they worked (briefly) for American CPR Training, they have a tendency to project their shortcomings onto others hence, along with this report being in the nature of their inconsequential attacks, the very flavor of the report sounds like a problem they would have with their own clients, and is not an issue that American CPR Training has with any American CPR Training clients.

While we suspect the above-mentioned wannabe of filing this false claim, it could be that this complainant (unprofessional nature aside, or rather perhaps a sign of their inability to recognize a scam) was taken by someone purporting to be American CPR Training. Given our vast exposure and reputation, we have been mimicked more than once. We are diligent about protecting our Name and Trademarks, and violators have been punished both civilly/financially and criminally (yes one went to jail!) for copying our materials or purporting to be us. Nevertheless, there are a lot of bad guys out there this complainant could have given her money to someone that claimed to be us but was not however we doubt this since she claims to have been trying to get a refund from us (and has our correct information listed in her report) yet we have never heard of this matter prior to the posting of this report. Anyone who had a Training Agreement with us, or who had made a payment with us, would also have easily found our decades-old listing with the California Secretary of State (SOS as she refers to it) under our parent corporation name which is on all banking and contract information.

Fifth

Why American CPR Training has benefitted from this mock-claim:

This unlike the intent of broadcasting aspersions about American CPR Training, has actually provided us a new venue for touting the values, services and attributes of American CPR Training.

One of our Customer Service themes is We dont know No meaning there is a positive response or solution to everything no matter how negative it may appear on the surface. With that in mind, while we were bound to take the time and effort to show how absurd this report is, we took it as an opportunity and new field in which to explain what an amazing organization American CPR Training really is. It has further given us a place to provide an in depth reply with keyword-rich content which search engines will record and perceive as valuable support for our high ranking on the internet this will only make our search results greater and bring us more happy clients, fueling our dynamic growth. For this, Mary, we thank you.
