American Credit Repair Steve White CEO Heart-broken in Portland Santa Monica, California

It was a great day when we had a cash off on our home, we were looking forward to getting a larger home for our two teenagers going into Highschool. Our realtor knew our situation with a 180 day late on our mortage back in 2009 because of a loan modification we had with B of A and assured us that we needed to sell our home and pay off Mortage to clear the way for a new start. We meet with our lender Directors Mortgage back in July and she saw our report and advised us  about our credit hurdles,which at that time my was a 660 and my husband was a 560 and that she had a contact with a company called American Credit Repair that had done wonders for her other clients. She called Steve White (American Credit) and sent our reports to him and he said yes, this is something we can handle with our direct apporach to lenders and credit bureaus. We were so excited we had someone on our side. That afternoon I talked with Steve White for 30 minutes and had told him I worked with a company already named Lexington Law and they had done very well removing 18 disputes off my report and that I had two left that was causing me issues and that Craig hadn't had the repair done yet that was why my score was high then his at that time.  He said he was postive he could get both our scores over 700 pt (by the way we have a letter) We moved into a short term lease on a apt month to month so when we were ready with our score and approval on a loan we could leave the apt easliy. It didnn't happen the way we thought...it's been six months in the apt because our lender had us jump through hoop after hoop. Then the lender asked for Craig and I to remove all the disputes that American Credit put on our report, Craigs report went up 60 pt and mine went down 100 points and the B of A was still there  We paid $2300.00 to American Credit for what??? Then the lender told Directors and myself the reason we were denied for the loan was beacause of the 180 day late. American Credit said it was just posted after the mortgage was paid, that is not true it was on the report Steve White and Director looked at back in July. I feel we were strongly misled and decieved with wrong information about our credit worthiness. It would have been appreciated if they were just honest on the condition of our credit so we could rebuild our credit over time and lease a home. Now we have rented an apt for 6 months 3xs the normal rate for a month to month lease. He sent as letter to me tonight and said I was hostle and abusive...wish he would send those to me because the letters I sent just requested a refund for mine and not my husband..since my credit went from 660-540..And yes I folowed all directions that American Credit ask and also Directors Mortage
