I saw there advertisment for about a year for American Data Group in Careerbuilder. I just have my temporary job assignment end 6-23-09. I decided to call them. Not many days after not getting a job with any companies or temp agencies I spoke with Robert Taylor, employee ID: 1288. He said that they would charge $69 for processing and they guarantee employment with in 60 days of less with a Federal job. He said that they had access to jobs that aren't readily available and that the fee they charge is to pay just for the processing. He said that the Federal Government has money set aside for more jobs, but the pepole have not applied yet and that they would help me get a job.

He spoke to me about all the wonderful benefits that Federal employees get and how they would pay for any additional education I might need for my job. He said that they might pay for me to be licensed as an interpretor for Federal Court, since I already have a Legal Assistant degree. He also said that the conversation was being recorded for quality purposes, which made me think that they were a legitimate company.

Robert Taylor also said that my husband could use the paperwork they were sending me to get a Federal job, too. He said that it would be no additional expense for my husband to use the service of American Data Group. Next he gave me Confirmation #631076, and said in 7 business days I would receive my paperwork. I had done some searching on-line before I even called ADG and didn't find any negative remarks or scam notices. Since, it was posted on Careerbuilder for several months, I thought that the company was reputable. I was charged $79.95 on 7/6/09. I hoped I would get my paper work soon, but it didn't come. Then 7/7/09 I was charged $79.95, again. I still haven't gotten my paperwork and it is 7/8/09.

I called ADG this morning and told them the name and ID of the employee I had spoken with several days ago. I was told that they were noting how I was charged twice and they gave me a customer service number. I was told that they would call me today, regardless. I called the customer service number and after being on hold a short while an ansering machine came on and asked me to leave a message. I did leave a message, and then I found this website that says that people are not being given assistance to get jobs, and that this is a scam. I have reported this to my bank, but it will be 45 days before this is resolved and I stil am unemployed and haven't recieved any unemployment benefits.
