American Express Rip-Off Dispute found in favor of Fraud Ft. Lauderdale Florida

I was a victim of fraud and American Express continually sided with the merchant that victimized me. The merchant installed the wrong part in my car. The merchant in fact committed Fraud accorded to NJ Consumer Fraud Act and Consumer Affairs Regulations. Thank God for Consumer Protection - they got most of my money refunded $1,300 out of $1,500. American Express did nothing, but make matters worse for me.

I have been a customer of American Express for 10 years. I never disputed a charge before this. I used my card to pay for everything I could think of. I was a victim of Fraud. I submitted all the proof to American Express. But they still sided with the big business. American Express use to be a great company. All I am hearing about them lately is complaints. My next step is to redeem my points (which is not such a great program either - 10,000 pts. = $100 in merchandise and only $50 cash value). Then I will make my final payment and cancel my account.
