American Financial Resources Inc. AFR Mortgage Mortgage / Loan Officer Parsippany, New Jersey

   I emailed American Financial Resources to get a loan and had a person from NJ. call me back and this is how it played out.

1.  I sent in all my info. and had a person we will call him Jason responded with an offer sheet with all the charges that would apply.



2. The total Borrower fee cost just to get a $ 125,000.00 loan was $4,297.36 a  (1st Red Flag)



3. I call to question the cost the next day and Jason sent over a new Borrower cost sheet for $5,489.66 and said the rates just when up.  ( 2nd Red Flag)



4. I call Jason back and he said he needs my tax returns so I sent them to he with no response that he received the paperwork. ( 3rd Red Flag)



5. We call and left 4 messages and emailed him 4 times to confirm that he received info. with no response ( 4th Red Flag)



6. After 2 weeks of waiting We sent an email to the corp. office to find out if Jason still worked for the company and if we got scammed. Yes he still works for the company. The lead manager call us to tell us he was on our file and would call later that day. No response (5th Red Flag)



7. After the second day of waiting I call the head man in charge and was put on a speaker phone and had to listen to all the excuses and the long version of why we didn't get the loan.  No cancelation letter as of yet.



8. They took our information and needn't follow through with any conclusion and made us wait, call and beg for an answer only to be put on a Speaker phone. I could hear other people in the back round talking and whispering.



9. Totaly bad and unprofessional experience



10. Never again will I use this company
