American Home Shield - Stainsafe - Servicemaster Group It's unfortunate if you carry policies with both these companies as we do. We believe they both are operated by Servicemaster ripoff Memphis Tennessee

AHS has been called for service to our home more than 4 times. They have yet to "pay" for anything that their contract says it covers. Stainsafe is another warranty group that we believe also operates under Servicemaster that covers stains on new furniture for 5 years. Same run around by all employees when you call. Several detailed questions are asked in hopes you will say something that will void their warranty.

These contracts seem to be very tricky and easy for them to get out of and "rip off "the consumer. I believe they have some scam going on with their technicians and everyone gets a little "something" for doing nothing. If you check the Better Business Bureau you will see both companies have had more than 2000 complaints over the last 36 months!! That certainly is an eye opener!!

We have the same story about a water heater/pool pump and dishwasher as everyone else. The repair person shows up collects the $55 and announces the service is not covered or puts a band-aid on it so it can break again and or wants to make another trip for another $55 service charge. Employees hang up on you or "conveniently" dis-connect the phone to avoid you. My husband and I both feel "ripped off" because we do not understand "how" they get by with this with so many complaints recorded.

This policy transferred with our purchase of our house and we had no idea how bad this was until we started checking on these companies. We pay close to $600.00 a year!! We all need to wake up and put these folks out of business and stop their little scams!!
